We were so warmly greeted when we arrived and although they didn’t have a table for us inside at the time we waited for a short amount of time and we were then seated ! All the staff were amazing and were so efficient throughout our time there- especially Hollie, thank you for making our experience so great !! We were drenched after getting caught in a sudden downpour. We received such a lovely warm welcome when we arrived it cheered us up no end. We ordered a bottle of chardonnay which was delicious. I had the burger and my husband had shin of beef. Both dishes were excellent and filling. The service was friendly and efficient. All in all a great first visit. The team, the food, the location and the authentic pub all led me to my 5* review. All four of us chose different foods and every single one was delicious and so fresh, especially the fish. Best fish and chips ever!
