The Greyhound Hotel
High St, WadhurstThree of us called in for lunch. The pub was quiet, we received a warm welcome. The menu is not extensive, but there is something for everyone (Vegan aside) on a ‘proper’ traditional pub menu.
Food was excellent, well cooked, generous portions, fair value for money.
I have no idea why this pub, in a fairly busy high street, is so quiet, it shouldn’t be.

Flimwell, Ticehurst, WadhurstVery heavy roast coffee, great range of local and localish foods. Cakes great too, recommend the whisky Dundee. Friendly staff as well. plus easy to get to and plenty of parking. would recommend

The Bull Inn Ticehurst
Huntley Mill Rd, Ticehurst, WadhurstWe're off to The Bull today (Sunday). We know that it's the quintessential English country pub, set in the gorgeous Kent countryside. It's so disappointing that amongst the masses of 5-Star reviews, there's a 1-star from someone who expected table service in the garden (too lazy to walk to the bar), and another who said their food was cold (they probably ordered a salad). Some people just want to complain.

Piccolo Cafe
High St, WadhurstWe stopped for a bite on our way back from Scotney castle and the lady was so kind to accommodate my little boy's dietary restrictions. Very thoughtful ? and my daughter and I had a delicious light meal. Thank you.

Simply Indian
Fenn House, High St, WadhurstGreat Indian - well presented - good service and really good food . Loved the Tandoori King Prawn and super crispy Bhajis . Nice bright space with plenty of room to pile up the dishes ?. Thanks for a great night - may now go to local Indian. This is a restaurant and take away unlike other well reviewed local Indian establishments that are actually take away only although the reviews picture people at tables ??

The Cherry Tree Inn - Ticehurst
Dale Hill, Ticehurst, WadhurstLovely little pub, nice food, great service. Not a gastro pub though and location is only convenient if you're driving or are based somewhere really local. Food was good, Guiness not so good (watery and way more bitter than usual), wine was lovely. Nice play area to keep the kids entertained.

Sussex Pass @ The White Hart
High St, Wadhurst(Review for the hotel part. Google seems to only see this as a pub/restaurant)
We had a lovely stay. We had the Birch room which was pretty and clean. The owners are very kind, helpful and were keen to have a chat. We are definitely coming back!
