The Greyhound Hotel
High St, WadhurstThree of us called in for lunch. The pub was quiet, we received a warm welcome. The menu is not extensive, but there is something for everyone (Vegan aside) on a ‘proper’ traditional pub menu.
Food was excellent, well cooked, generous portions, fair value for money.
I have no idea why this pub, in a fairly busy high street, is so quiet, it shouldn’t be.

The Bull Inn Ticehurst
Huntley Mill Rd, Ticehurst, WadhurstWe're off to The Bull today (Sunday). We know that it's the quintessential English country pub, set in the gorgeous Kent countryside. It's so disappointing that amongst the masses of 5-Star reviews, there's a 1-star from someone who expected table service in the garden (too lazy to walk to the bar), and another who said their food was cold (they probably ordered a salad). Some people just want to complain.

The Cherry Tree Inn - Ticehurst
Dale Hill, Ticehurst, WadhurstI had a lovely burger here. Cosy local pub vibe. The log fire was on. The staff were very helpful. Lovely atmosphere. The Bell in the village is more up market and fancy, however this pub ticks the boxes for a more casual vibe....suits either a quiet drink after work, a chilled lunch, a relaxing drink, and some wholesome food... the garden is ideal for sunny chill out and lovely views. And it is kid friendly venue with kid menu too. Simple and tasty food. Id recommend this place. And im looking forward to sampling more food.

The Weald Smokery
Flimwell, Ticehurst, WadhurstThe flat white coffee is truly fabulous, nice and hot, full of flavour and right on the mark. I had a ploughman’s: simply delicious, I was in heaven. This is clearly a business that cares about what they are selling and their presentation. The shop has lots of delicious foods, plus a nice cheese delicatessen where you can get local cheeses. A wonderful place, I hope to be back.

Piccolo Cafe
High St, WadhurstWe stopped for a bite on our way back from Scotney castle and the lady was so kind to accommodate my little boy's dietary restrictions. Very thoughtful ? and my daughter and I had a delicious light meal. Thank you.

Sussex Pass @ The White Hart
High St, Wadhurst(Review for the hotel part. Google seems to only see this as a pub/restaurant)
We had a lovely stay. We had the Birch room which was pretty and clean. The owners are very kind, helpful and were keen to have a chat. We are definitely coming back!

Simply Indian
Fenn House, High St, WadhurstI recently went to Simply Indian Restaurant in Wadhurst and really enjoyed the experience, as the food was delicious, well-spiced, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The service was friendly and the cozy atmosphere made it a comfortable and enjoyable place to dine.
