This local pub has had a refurbishment. Very friendly staff and welcoming. Dog friendly and a good range of drinks and food. The usual Greene King menu but a good price. A pub is only as good as its staff and this pub hits the mark where they seem interested rather than just basic gratuities.
Nice little pub. Food is cheap. Handy as it's local.Post covid they have done fantastic job. The current landlady is really lovely and very welcoming. Been to the hotel for food before but managed a one night stay and spa experience. If you prefer older buildings with character this is the place to go. When your wife says it's the best hotel she has ever been to that says it all.
