What a fantastic place to eat. We were a group of 4 adults, 1 child. We all ordered food and what an enjoyable plate of food it was, I had the fish pie with veg, very tasty plate of food and well presented. 2 others had Gammon and chips and both said what a big plate of food it was, another had Lasagne and said that it wasn't one that was bought in, it was made in the kitchen and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Took dog out for a very muddy wet walk along the canal path from thr Pilot pub along to the bridge going into Elmore, then walked back the other side that was drier. Popped into the pub for a small drink afterwards, before heading home.Couple of the workers came over to make a fuss of our dog, and also brought out a bowl of water for her. Dog friendly pub, not able to take them into the conservatory area, but anywhere else in the pub you can.

Lovely canal side pub go there quite often excellent food great selection lovely atmosphere good selection of beers drinks etc dog friendly newly decorated had the wake for my dads funeral there lovely buffet loads of it great job
