Went for the Christmas Fayre and light lunch. Had a great time with the kids. Mushroom soup, baba ganoushe, fries and cheesy fries were delicious. Kid's fish goujon burger was just the fish in a brioche bun - no butter on the bun and tartare sauce wasn't available so we settled on ketchup - unfortunately the side slaw was just red onion in dressing, couldn't see any cabbage so this was inedible by my child and even me. Wonderful people, rooted in the community. An unpretentious, lovely, welcoming environment. Obscenely gorgeous croissants. The burger challenge has yet to be won, but there are lots of other munchies to choose. Great selection of beer (made on the premises). My favourite place.

Lovely venue, clean and bright. The Stinger beer, 4.2 ABV was excellent. Great range of other beers available too. I didn't eat there but the food coming from the kitchen looked yummy
