We were staying nearby to The White Horse and decided to have their Sunday Roast dinner. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. There were other choices on offer, which change frequently, but we elected to have the Roast Beef.We can honestly say that this was THE best pub roast that we have had, and we’ve sampled many. We had a fabulous evening and meal at the Christmas carol concert on Thursday! Food was superb on a very busy evening ! It was wonderful to see the pub so packed creating a lovely festive atmosphere . Thanks to the musicians staff and Sophie and Laura for a memorable night.

Very nice premises, and the staff were very lovely and helpful! We tried the beef burger, fish and chips and a brie tart. The food was quite good bar the fish, hence the loss of one star.
