Decided on an impromptu dinner out midweek - quiet in restaurant, a few in bar Staff were attentive, polite, service was quick. Chose mussels for starter - delicious & highly recommended! Chicken Balti for main - fabulous flavours just lacking in chicken. Kitchen added extra spoonful when mentioned to them - for me was still lacking but did enjoy the meal overall. That said problem was rectified with an apology so Please support local pubs it would be a shame to loose them.
i came here with a few family members for a sunday roast which was cooked beautifully, as well as the chocolate brownie which i really enjoyed. however, it seems the place is lacking on customer service, certain staff members can come across as a little bit rude.. but lovely pub overall, and would return again for the food.

Fantastic cozy pub and amazing food (meat and vegetarian). We had a lovely family meal next to the log fire - very memorable. Friendly accommodating staff. Will definitely be a frequent visitor. Thanks very much for making us feel welcome.
