The Unicorn Pub
38 Gallows Hill, Abbots Langley, Kings LangleyOne of my local pubs. Popped in for a toasty and a drink a couple of weeks ago in their dining area. Service was great and I thoroughly enjoyed my toasty. I have also visited this pub regularly in the past to watch live sport as it has a number of TV screens. The building itself is also beautiful, not sure when exactly it was originally built but there are pictures on the wall of the pub surrounded by fields (almost impossible to imagine now!) so it's quite a historic pub too.

Three Piece Events
277 High St, BerkhamstedAlex heads a polished team of professional, friendly and expert mixologists and bar staff. We used them for our NYE party and were blown away by their geniality and efficiency. No job was too small, and they were ready to adapt to any scenario with enthusiasm and skill. Our guests all commented on them very positively, saying how lovely they were. The cocktails themselves were absolutely delicious - also commented on by all - and the full measures of spirits going into them didn’t go unnoticed. Many people said how strong they were in comparison to many that you get elsewhere. And the flavours were interesting, unusual and indulgent. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Alex and his team. If you’re thinking about hiring them, go for it and you won’t be disappointed!

Cart & Horses
Quickmoor Ln, Common Wood, Sarratt, Kings LangleyFirst visit to the cart and horses and was blown away with the welcome from staff and locals alike. We had fantastic food cooked to perfection and served to us by very nice staff. We will definitely visit again soon.

The Kings Lodge Bar and Restaurant
28 Bridge Rd, Hunton Bridge, Sarratt, Kings LangleyThis is our 2nd visit to this pub when on a day out to Harry Potter studios. First time was about 5 years ago. Really lovely place to eat. The food is excellent and the portion sizes are very good. None of us could fit dessert in. Prices are very reasonable and the staff there are very friendly. Nothing to complain about. Highly recommend.

If you're on a meat & dairy diet like me this place is perfect as you can order just eggs and bacon (as many pieces as you like) Very nicely cooked, plenty of seating inside and out, dog friendly in outside seating area too.

21 High St, Kings LangleyWe had an AMAZING evening at Oscars! Neither of us have been in about 20 years and decided to go for our anniversary date night. The service was fantastic, the waitresses were lovely and friendly. The food was wonderful and the price was fantastic. We went on a Monday and they had 20% off, we added a tip for the staff as it was so well deserved. We over ordered but they put our food in pizza boxes to take home. We are most definitely returning very soon. It was such a lovely evening out :) Thank you Oscars for providing us with wonderful food and service. We will see you very soon.

11C Hempstead Rd, Kings LangleyUpdate: not sure if new management, but the shop did take my contactless payment on request. The food was very good and I’m happy as it’s is my local chippy and I can now use them! Well done!Tried to buy f+c but discovered they only take cash … in these times that’s crazy, went to Dolphin fish bar in Abbots Langley who took my card and were several £ better priced. It’s a shame but reading the recent reviews it’s hard to see how they can survive if they don’t move with the times, credit card machines are not expensive, but as someone new to the area they just lost repeat business…. Bit short sighted…

Premier Inn Kings Langley hotel
37 Hempstead Rd, Kings Langleywould highly recomend this place. we took my little boy here to stay for his birthday as we were taking him to the harry potter studios that is only a 10mins drive from there, we wanted to make a night of it for him. I had emailed a week or so before we was due to stay to ask if there was anything the could do to make my boys stay special and they went above and beyond. They had gone out of there way to put a happy birthday banner and balloons up in the room, printed out colouring sheets and crayons to colour them in, also left him a little gift of sweet birthday badge and a card for in the room along with a harry potter gift. the staff there was so helpful and kind they make my boys stay there one to remember.
