Pleasantly surprised to see one of the best restauranteer in London - Sachin Bhavnagarwala running this restaurant!

He always ensures that the team delivers the best food, service and smiles. I have known Sachin for several years and I always take my most esteemed business guests to his restaurants.

Enjoyed Malabar Curry, Spinach Chaat, Kurkure Corn and soft butter naans today. I’m definitely coming back for more to Masala Bowl - now knowing that Sachin’s team is there to take care of me and my guests.

Highly recommend you try it.

Small pub on a corner so not much to look at from the outside or inside. But the staff were very friendly and attentive. Came here for dinner mainly. The manager popped over a couple of times to make sure we were OK. Food was really good, actually. I've absolutely no complaints about my experience. Would happily come here again.

One of my most favourite pubs in the area. Love the Thai food. The staff are always polite, courteous and very helpful. I have been with friends and also with my kids and the experience was great in all occasions. The atmosphere is great, and even the patrons are nice and friendly. The place is also always spotless. Definitely recommend!

The most amazing food in a quintessential village pub. Don't be put off. Everyone is welcome, but most people will know 2 other groups in the pub and will chat and catch up, even if it has only been a week since they were together. It is a small pub and doesn't take much to be busy, so sometimes you will have to wait a while to be served. But you will always be served with a smile and a chat, even if the staff don't know you. Quality over quantity. We love it, and so do our kids. There is also a lovely walking look you can take from the pub. Just beware, Sunday lunch orders stop at 4pm.

Very loud and so busy. I don’t live in the area but have friends so we tend to go here. \nLast time we visited we sat outside and booked a table to eat. It was busy but not too bad. \nThis time we booked a table inside as rain was imminent. I requested a quiet table and we were put in the corner of the restaurant. It was so busy and extremely loud. \nThe food was ok, nothing special but I have a limited diet so have to be careful. \nAfter a few hours we were asked to leave the table so the next reservation could be seated. I asked the waitress if there was another table and she found one to move us too. It all felt a bit rushed. This new table was in the bar where they were serving food so it felt strange that the later reservation could’ve be seated there. The bar was just as loud and got us just too much so we left which cut short our evening and birthday celebrations ending. \nI think we’ll find somewhere else next time.

This is an unusual mix of a popular ‘sports pub’ and a restaurant. \nOn a Saturday evening it was rammed but the service when we arrived was excellent. Our order was taken, carefully checked and we settled back and enjoyed chatting over the starters - all good apart from the rather chewy ‘crispy’ lamb.\nWe appreciated a decent pause, as requested, before the mains arrived but suddenly the decibel level shot up as a small group colonised the bar. \nDid this impact our reaction to the mains? Maybe, but the sauce to meat content was on the high side. Hard to differentiate the prawns from the chicken…..\nWell worth a visit for a pub meal but don’t expect any more.

My wife & I booked for lunch. The restaurant is situated in a traditional pub located in a pleasant rural location. \nWe received a warm welcome, a good choice of dishes on the menu including fish & vegetarian. \nThe food is good although the roasted Cod was a little overcooked, overall we enjoyed our lunch.\nThe service was excellent, our waiter was Fabio, very charming, friendly & efficient.

Quality! This little family run Italian restaurant is awesome. It remains a firm favourite with our friends and we can absolutely see why. We shared a couple of bottles of Primitivo and then mostly had seafood and fish. All was super fresh. The ladies went for Prawn and Crayfish Cocktails, which were utterly delicious and guys had a serving of Sardines which were very good indeed. Two of us had fillets of seabass with chive and veloute sauce, one penne allo scoglio di mare and a veal Milanese. What a find! Lovely atmosphere too.

We had a really enjoyable experience at this restaurant and will definitely be returning. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the staff, who remained friendly, polite, and attentive throughout our visit. The service was prompt without being rushed, and the team made sure we had everything we needed.

The food was absolutely delicious – clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. Every dish we ordered was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and served at the perfect temperature. It’s the kind of place where you can tell the kitchen takes real pride in what they do.

The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it a great spot for anything from a casual lunch to a relaxed evening meal. The dining area was clean and well laid out, and the overall setting added to the experience.

What really stood out, beyond the great food, was the service. The staff were genuinely nice people – approachable, accommodating, and happy to help.

All in all, it was a fantastic visit. Great food, great service, and great people. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back again soon.

I’ve been having breakfast in the community cafe (open every Wednesday morning) and can’t recommend it highly enough. Marie and her team serve up a English breakfast but I enjoy the avocado on toast with poached eggs. Service is great and the prices are very competitive.

My dog and I went in today, mid walk, to check it out. Big thumbs from me.
The new managers are lovely people, warm and welcoming. Good range of beers, lagers and spirits.
The pub is beautifully turned out with proper fire places. The garden is spacious and sunny.
They will be offering food from 28th September 2025; can’t wait.
