My first visit for many years - wow what a transformation! The place now looks fresh, cosy and welcoming - and has everything you want in a local country pub/restaurant. Our food and drinks came swiftly, meals perfectly cooked and so tasty. Portion sizes were generous! Staff were friendly, happy and welcoming and were very helpful and obliging. This is our local Pub and a shame to say our first visit since its re-opening. We went there for lunch with a friend and were very pleasantly surprised. The decor was more cosy and the setup very clean. We were greeted by Helen who turned out to be the new Manager. She was very friendly and polite.
