Quaint country pub with small restaurant, very atmospheric, in the lovely village of Woodhouse Eaves. My husband and I had our Christmas Day lunch there and it was superb. We had a fantastic Christmas dinner on Christmas Day. After hearing some negative comments recently we were very pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the food and service. Ed and Pandora offered a lovely service and compliments to the chefs

A warm welcome and great service from friendly and helpful staff. Menu was ok but felt it to be more limited and a couple of main course options were not available which was a shame. Meals arrived in good time and were enjoyed. Treats for the dog were a nice touch. Good selection of wines, spirits and beers (well kept mild). Will be back.
