College Yard Ltd
10 College Yard, BriggI rate this Italian very highly. The service was excellent - it was my mums 65th birthday and they allowed us to bring in our own cake and helped decorate it with our bday banners and made a fuss over her which is always nice.
The venue is small but well worth going for a more intimate set up.
The food was delicious and although a little on the small side, it was very tasty and what you expect from a proper Italian.
Great job guys!

O'Mahoneys Fruit & Veg, Wrawby St, BriggA lovely tea room on the high street. I had a really nice afternoon tea, there was plenty with it, so much I was even offered a box to bring my cake home. Really friendly staff and fantastic service.

Brigg Garden Centre
Bigby High Rd, BriggGreat garden centre to go for a walk around. Can spend a whole day there with the amount of things to do. Restaurant food is great, with lots of seating. Nice to see the coffee haven has moved to a quieter part of the centre.

Broughton Fish Bar (BRIGG)
49 High St, Broughton, BriggTried this chip shop last night, had one of the specials- fish/chips/ curry sauce £10.80.
It was a well cooked piece of fish, the chips were hot & the curry sauce was tasty.
One criticism, which doesn't affect my review score-the lady serving was wearing black, rubber, catering style gloves, yet handled cash & then scooped & served food. Don't let the gloves fool you, they are an illusion of cleanliness. Best practice is to. Not handle cash then food. Or if you do, hand wash in between. Gloves aren't helping to keep anything clean.

28A Market Place, BriggFirst day of the month means a new special at Yellow Belly! I had the Burrata Inferno which was unreal - was welcomed by a friendly face and the chef clearly took pride in his work. Was the perfect place for a mid week treat while getting some university work done, if you need a friendly and warm atmosphere to enjoy good food - this is the place!

36-37 Wrawby St, BriggWish I lived closer because it would most definitely be my 'local'. The atmosphere is second to none, and mine hostess is brilliant at her job. Everyone is made extremely welcome. I can't recommend it enough. Well worth a visit if you want a good pint in a great pub.

20, Market Place, BriggMy wife and I ordered from curry corner for the first time tonight as we fancied something different, there's a large selection of curries and we couldn't decide so we opted for the set meal for 2. The order arrived within 30 minutes of ordering by a very polite young lady. We could not believe how much food there was for the £29.50 we had paid, we struggled to eat it all, it could easily have fed another person quite easily, the quality of the food was very good, everything was very tasty and the sauce in the curries was nice and thick, we will definitely order from here again.

70 Wrawby St, BriggLovely high street bakery.The window display of giant danish lured us all in!Once inside the frsh smell of cakes, biscuits and savouries was delightful.Very good value for money too, which is important these days.The staff were friendly and they have a loyalty card for purchases too.We only bought cakes, but the savoury things like sausage rolls and pies etc are usually best just out the oven or nicer hot.

Red Lion Inn

The celebration went extremely well due to the attention to detail shown by Steve and his wife. They could not do enough for us. 76 Wrawby St, BriggWe was staying at a touring caravan site in bonby over the weekend 7th/9th Feb and wanted a takeaway for tea on Saturday so we rang Golden city to see if we could deliver. Unfortunately they couldn't deliver but we ordered anyway and went to pick it up. So glad we did it was brilliant and big portions for the price we really enjoyed the meal and will use them again when we come back to stay at this caravan site. The ladies in the takeaway was very helpful and very friendly. Thanks to you all see you again soon.

13 Wrawby St, BriggCame in today (not our first visit) and ordered myself the Giant Yorkie with mince, mash, veg and Gravy. Unfortunately they were out of giant yorkies however did provide a couple of small instead making me very happy. Food was just as beautiful as always and fairly priced. My meal was £7.25 and has completely filled me, most likely for the day.
Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian options for most dishes allowing inclusive dining for all.
Dietary restrictions: They're very happy to remove items from dishes where possible.
Kid-friendliness: Has a very nice family atmosphere with plenty of meal options for kids.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible with a ramp and hand rail at the door.

1, Coney Court, BriggAbsolutely hidden gem! A lovely little fish and chips restaurant. Really clean, staff were all super friendly. Great to have the choice of a smaller portion of fish and chips for a smaller appetite. The fish was super fresh, the chips were lovely and the mushy peas were delicious. A real new favourite place of ours I think. The price was reasonable too including drinks and considering that we ate in the restaurant.

The portions were really generous, and you could tell the ingredients were high quality and cooked perfectly. Honestly one of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be ordering again and would highly recommend giving it a try!

Wrawby St, BriggWeatherspoon is good service and friendly staff also have good choice of food and drink to pick from off the menu, unfortunately could do better with house cleaning, as the booths could do with a good clean of the seat and mirrors as a lot of the seat smell, booths definitely need a good shampoo to get rid of the sweaty smell they give off, as this is noticeable when sat down in one of the booths and a lot of the mirror in the booths have stains on also parts of ceiling has coffee or tea splash on it near the front entrance seating area, other than small things which could be easily fix and kept standard.

I would have voted it a 5 if they had taken cards or told us when we made our order that it was cash only instead of telling us there's a cash point at tescos
