The White Hart
North St, Owston Ferry, Doncastercalled in to the White Hart, last night, for some food. a great little pub with a proper community feel to it. food was excellent. Absolutely cracking lamb & mint pie tasty and packed full of filling. Daughter had a beef foot long baguette.. again this was stuffed with meat. Great food and really good service.

The Crooked Billet Owston Ferry
Silver St, Owston Ferry, DoncasterVery traditional old pub with lots of history. Very friendly staff always a warm welcome and made to feel right at home. Good selection of ales, guest beers, lagers, and wine. Plenty of car parking spaces and a large beer garden that overlooks the Trent, it's always kept clean and tidy.

Lindholme Lakes Country Park
Don Farm West Carr, DoncasterBeen on a couple of fishing matches here in the last few weeks and it's a great fishery. The cafe is lovely, food is nice and staff are friendly. The tackle shop is good and Alex and staff are very knowledgable and will give you advice. Cant comment on the rooms as i've not stayed here but maybe in the future.

Sadie's Tea Room
Market Pl, Crowle, ScunthorpeStaff were friendly, lots of seating inside and out, plenty of choice on the menu, clean premises, toilets were clean and smelled lovely.
I accidentally broke a plate and offered to pay to replace it but smiley lady said there was no need.
Definitely worth a visit, pay cash if possible so you can give the staff a well deserved tip! ? I'll be back again.

The Khyber Restaurant
1 Church St, Epworth, DoncasterNormally eat in when we visit and have always been extremely impressed by the food.
Ordered a takeaway this time and the quality wasn't as good. The service was as fantastic and friendly as always and some of the components were extremely nice such as the mixed kebab and the keema naan.
The chef's special balti was just okay, but the pilau rice was extremely bland.

10 Battle Grn, Epworth, DoncasterWe had a great celebratory meal here tonight. Staff were very friendly and also efficient. The food was delicious. We had 2 x steak and ale pies which were full of meat and were proper individual pies; 1 x mariners pie which was really tasty and the accompanying roast veg was a perfect addition; 1 x fish and chips which was enormous and great quality and 1 x steak frites which was a sirloin steak cooked perfectly rare as requested. 1 of our group is gluten free and there was a good selection of options to meet their needs. Highly recommend.

3 King Edward St, Belton, DoncasterWe ordered a large fish and chips and 2 doner kebabs with chips and salad. I don’t know what they cook the chips in but they tasted amazing, especially compared to what we get down south. The portions were huge and the price was reasonable for what you get. Highly recommend!

The staff were really friendly on arrival and quickly took our drink order at the bar. We were then taken to the table.
Within a few minutes the waitress came back and took our order. The starter I ordered came out pretty quickly. And the mains were not long after. Everything was cooked perfectly.
The chips were really yummy homemade beautys ? the sea bass very nice, not a bone in sight ?
Lots to choose from on the menu for all tastes.

Toilets were clean and had good access ♿
