My daughter and her husband recently had their wedding at The Bustard Inn and it was fantastic. Lesley and her staff were brilliant and couldn’t do enough to help and make the whole day memorable. The food was excellent and we would definitely recommend this venue for any event.

We walked into town from Greylees this morning for a nice dog walk and breakfast. We were recommended the Watergate Yard from FB recommendations. On arrival (10.40 ish) it was actually shut and wasn’t due to open for food till midday. However, the staff decided that was we’d made the effort to get there, they agreed to cook our breakfast for 4 people and serve us nice hot drinks. The food was great and they went above and beyond for us and even cooked an extra sausage for our dog. Certainly recommend this place for food and great service. Thankyou x

I ordered on Food Hub and turned up 5 minutes before it said it was ready and it was already cold so had been waiting for a while.
The biryani was just rice with meat added; it hasn't been cooked together. I asked for Vindaloo but they'd just added loads of chilli powder which killed the little flavour it had in it.
Very disappointed; the worst meal I've had in ages.
UPDATE. It won't let me leave another review so I've had to blend this one. I have been back since and the meal i had was wonderful so I have blended the review together; they were obviously having a (very) bad night!

Brilliant staff, really helpful and engaging. Management need to seriously consider investing some proper money into this outlet though. Staff are constantly battling with poor infrastructure (heating down at the moment), faulty equipment and the whole place needs a refresh. Similar sized Costa in Bourne recently moved up the High Street to a newly kitted out Costa. Spend some money in Sleaford - similar sized market town with a loyal customer base in a Costa that looks very tired. Thank you to all the staff who do a great job - Management are letting them (and customers) down.

Excellent service from Lucy and Kate on what could be easily seen as an unexpectedly busy evening. We sat in the bistro for food where the tapas and strawberry meringue were both delightful (and recommended by Lucy!), followed by some cocktails outside. All in all a really lovely place and highly recommend ??

We stopped here on a Thursday night whilst visiting and could not have been more impressed with the food and staff here.

We had Tom Yum & Tim Kah soup to start. Both were delicious with the Tom Yum having a lovely heat.

The papaya salad was amazing. So delicious, fragrant, fresh and spicy.

The special fried rice and the Thai basil prawns completed an exceptional meal. The prawns were amazing. Well cooked and juicy, with the flavour of Thai basil complementing them well.

The two ladies who looked after us were also absolutely lovely. Nothing was too much trouble.

We will certainly return when next in the area.

Vegetarian options: Many dishes can be made vegetarian on request in addition to a large vegetarian section to the menu.

Visiting the area and decided to give this a try as we use a local Green King pub. Pleasantly surprised lovely big car park and met by friendly staff. Ordered food arrived and looked delicious everything cooked perfectly apart from the chips which were not hot. Told waitress who quickly apologised and returned with hot fresh ones. Very happy with the service and have since recommended it to others on site. We certainly will return.

First time we’ve ordered from La Shish and it was pretty good. Came very quickly and earlier than expected. Food was piping hot. My wife did say the chicken tikka masala was a bit on the spicy side though. I had the lamb Biryani and was disappointed with the lack of lamb and was cut up very very small. I prefer the big chunks of lamb you would normally get in a Biryani. It’s ok, but I prefer Bombay Club. But they are far too expensive now, so will more than likely order again

We have honestly just had the most delicious meal delivered. So tasty, not greasy, meat sliced thinly in a good way as it was not dry, full of moisture. Really lovely meal (my waist band would disagree, but we all deserve a treat) delicious and we live far from the restaurant and usually take a huge hit on delivery fees but we ordered through the website and it was very reasonable. Delivery drivers are always so polite and friendly, cannot highlight that enough. Free bottle of drink but most importantly for my husband and daughter, the wings are stunning! Great place. Highly recommend. There is a reason this place is our “treat” I must add the staff in store called me to confirm the order, the attention to detail was appreciated.

It’s disappointing when they microwave the Pukka Pies as they dry them out inside and the pastry goes hard. BUT When they don’t microwave them and they are there ready they are a lot better.

To improve it would be good to always have some cooked ready to go without the microwave !

Was staying with friends at Highfields Fishing Retreat in Spanby nearby. They recommended Indian Takeaway from the Bombay Brasserie behind the Pub. Had a great experience ordering the Indian and while it was being prepared had a pint with my friend in the pub. Excellent staff behind the bar, very friendly and helpful. The beer was great and locally brewed. Mild that I had was one of the best I have had. My friend had the bitter which he also enjoyed. There is a beer garden at the back and, although the pub is not maybe as salubrious as some, it is an unpretentious local, which is also dog friendly. Also had a good range of keg beers and spirits. Definitely hope to visit again.

The staff were very welcome and the food menu was typical country pub style, home made and very tasty.
A pub worth stopping in when you’re passing by.

A lovely find on the outskirts of Sleaford. Sat in a little area where dogs are allowed, treats available for them which is lovely. I had a lovely hot chocolate with all the trimmings and a scone. Parking outside, next to the petrol station and spar shop. But what put us off a little was watching staff clean the cabinet, starting from top downwards and spraying with cakes underneath - please change this, the spray will go on the cakes!

Honestly, wow! Such a nice, refreshing and clean all round great vibe!! Since the new owners have taken over this business, the food has been amazing, excellent quality, always cooked to order and fresh, always nice and hot! This place has had a new lease of life and it’s absolutely smashing it, I’ve now been 3/4 times since its opening and I’ve never once had a bad experience, literally the best fish & chips in Sleaford and it’s surrounding areas by far!
If I could give this place even double the amount of star ratings allowed on here, I would!

We have been on several occasions for Sunday roast. Fabulous food, lots of veg and a good variety too. We have tried beef, pork and lamb and each time the meat has been tender. Homemade cheesecake is a winner. The staff are lovely, very helpful and stop for a quick chat. Nothing is too much trouble. We will certainly visit again.

We decided to use the New Inn in Folkingham for our Coach company Pub tour and found this little gem whilst doing a search of the local area.
We knew straight away that this was what we were looking for and that it would be perfect for our group . From start to finish they provided us with a warm friendly service. The food was all freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The service was first class and very well organised. Our customers couldn't have been happier with the venue and the food. We have had so many positive comments and we shall definitely be returning there again .Thankyou so much for a great evening to all the staff
