The food at The Priory has always been very good quality and this recent visit was no exception. The mixed grill was massive, in fact it was too much for me but what I did manage to eat was delicious. You can tell that the meat is locally sourced probably from a local butchers. I have had fish dishes in the past and they too are of a high quality. I've also had the rib eye steak in the past and that was fantastic. 10 out of 10 to the chef's and the waitresses, a great experience.
Arrived at this delightful restaurant at 1830 without booking first. We were advised that they were fully booked but they would see if they could squeeze us in. We didn’t wait long before they found us a table. Food was nice and we stayed for a a couple of hours. There were a lot of empty tables. When we left they were getting ready to close so I don’t know where all the guests were. Worth a visit but book first
Absolutely fantastic food just superb quality really couldn't fault it.All staff were very friendly, professional and helpful at all times.Just brilliant and I can highly recommend the fish bowl and the halibut covered with cheese sauce and prawns.????
