This is a proper country pub which is nice inside and outside. The food was amazing as was the beer. The staff were helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for you
The food was locally sources and freshly cooked.
Lots to see in the local area. Worth travelling to get to and enjoy a pint and meal.

Eskdale Fisheries
159 Coach Rd, Sleights, WhitbyFabulous business. Best fishnchips I've ever had. The product was delicious, quality great and cosy very reasonable. Better than the Magpie in Whitby ,hands down. 100 per cent recommended.

Old School Coffee Shop
Grosmont, WhitbyAn absolute gem in Grosmont! The coffee is amazing. My daughter had the Victoria Sponge and declared it the best ever! I had a fresh fruit scone which was still slightly warm and was absolutely delicious! If you are visiting Grosmont I'd highly recommend a visit!

Grosmont Station Tea Room
Front St, Grosmont, WhitbyBusy little place with additional seating outside if weather permits, great bacon butties, good range of cakes, Cornish pasties etc, most of it is local produce, everything is cooked from scratch so service can be a little slow at busy times but well worth the wait, very friendly and helpful staff, one of my favorite places to go.
