Took the kids there for tea. Lovely warm welcome and delicious food. The kids had the meal deal. We didn't have time to stay for pudding so they kindly gave us some yummy brownies to take away.
Fantastic place. Hadn’t been for a while but called in. A very busy bustling place full of character and atmosphere. Our food was hot and very tasty. The staff were very accommodating. The landlady was very pleasant. Taking time to chat even though they were busy. Definitely

What a wonderful pub this is. We were visiting York for the weekend from Bristol, I only found it via a Google search and decided to take my chances. Well I’m so happy I did! The food and service were both fantastic. Definitely worth a visit and if we’re up north again we will most certainly be coming back.
