The Olive Branch
Community Centre, Spratton Road, NorthamptonThe Olive Branch is a wonderful community-run café located right next to the library, and it’s been serving the local area for over 20 years — which says a lot in itself.
They offer a great selection of hot food, along with light bites, homemade cakes, and a variety of drinks. Everything is freshly made, and you can really taste the quality and care that goes into it.
I popped in on a Wednesday, when they’re only open for an hour due to their OAP luncheon — which I think is such a lovely community touch. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d hope for in a proper café: warm, welcoming, and incredibly friendly.
I’ll definitely be back soon to try the breakfast!

Atmosphere can get lively later in the evening which can be fun! Can often come at a cost of slower service, but that’s a given. Highly recommend.

Harborough Rd, LamportWe were a party of 6 with varying individual requirements. Our waitress was very helpful, attentive and patient. The food was generally very good with just a couple of minor niggles but we were all served simultaneously and the food was hot. Interesting menu choices available and children's options very good value.
