Daily visit with my 2 dogs, super service with excellent welcoming staff who are all first rate ? My only complaint would be that they have now turned me into a‘coffee snob’ and i now cant go anywhere else and achieve the same satisfaction !Well done girls ??

Rowell Charter Inn.

Nice town pub, with a 'village local' feel. Great selection of ales and cider, albeit a little on the pricey side. Nevertheless a great, friendly pub. Recommended!

The Red Lion

The room was very nice and was clean. It was a bit noisy but we knew in advance about there being noise and music from the bar. To be fair it stopped around midnight as we expected. My one complaint was that there was no mirror in the actual room. Luckily I brought a small bathroom mirror to enable me to dry my hair. The breakfast was not includes whoch was disappointing but we did eat there and the food was good. The staff were very attentive. All im we enjoyed our stay.Rooms: The room was cold but we found that the heating was not on and turned it on. The room was never warm but it was okay. One thing apart from there being no mirror there is a light outside which illuminates the room. The curtains were fairly thick so blocked the light but there was a gap at the top where a pelmet would really help.
