Bar 76, 76 Station Rd, Desborough, KetteringHeard good things about it so decided to try it out. Very friendly owner and people in there. We had a cheeseburger and chips and lasagne and chips, all for a tenner. £5 meal on that night. It was very, very tasty. Its a great little watering hole and we will definitely come again.

111 High St, Desborough, KetteringI would just stick to coffee. I shall not be buying any foods as the prices have now increased yet again by at least on average 30% and makes it expensive. Needs new chairs outside and redecorating internally.Parking: Parking used by workers nearby.

GREAT WALL Chinese Takeaway
46-48 Station Rd, Desborough, KetteringFirst time ever ordered from here and it was amazing and got to say one of best Chinese I've had .pork balls done to perfectionist not over done in batter like most Chinese it's all batter no meat this was spot on meal highly recommend and will be ordering again

The R Inn Hotel
7, 15 Station Rd, Desborough, KetteringThis is a lovely hotel to stay in. The location is great and is on a road with lots of shops and takeaway food options if you don't want to use on the on site restaurant.There is a large free car park to the rear of the property which felt safe to park in.The room was comfortable and had all the basic equipment. My only gripe was that there was nowhere to sit. I did find the room too warm for me but understand that this is personal preference and for others the temperature would probably be good. However there was a large fan provided so this helped by creating some airflow.The bed was very large and comfortable. It was two single mattresses pushed together to make a large bed. It was slightly uncomfortable over the join where the two mattresses met but I quickly got used to this and it did not affect my sleep.The bathroom was fantastic. The shower was a large walk in that was big enough to fit 2-3 people comfortably. It had two shower heads, a large fixed rainfall head and a movable traditional shower head. The temperature and pressure was great. There was also a separate bath which I did not use but was a good size and had a seat built into the side.Internet connectivity was excellent and was fast and reliable with speeds of 50+ mbps which was great to have.My only negative was the room I was in was next to the 24 hour access door and so this was noisy at times with people coming and going but this is only a small issue and would not affect others in different rooms.Overall I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would happily stay again if I was in the area again

The Gurkhas & The Orchid Restaurant
Harborough Rd, Desborough, KetteringWhat a great little gem, lovely food taste so fresh, was on our way up from London, popped in for a meal and was really pleasant, clean, fresh food and lovely staff. Menu seemed great lots of choice, good to know there was alot of different dishes than your typical indian! Food was delicious!
