Excellent pub. Stopped in for a group celebration lunch. The staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful and very welcoming. Food was great - good range of options, epic burgers and overall delicious.
We were shocked by the bill - in a good way, had to check several times that we hadn't missed something off! Great value and definitely worth a repeat trip

We found this pub while walking in the countryside. It was so good that we visited a total of four times during our three day stay at Fawsley Hall.

Exeptional food! This is pub food like I have never had it before. Quality and taste on a high level. Can honestly say it’s the best we have had! Hats off to the chef(s)!

One of the days we had dinner there they had two and three corse menus which were really, really good value! The next day they did not and then it was on the expensive side, but I don’t mind paying a premium when food is this good. Better that, than paying a little less to get mediocre food!

The pub is beautifully restored and the garden is a very nice place to be!

Owners are super friendly and knowledgeable about both the food and wine they are serving.

My favourite pub in the area for a friends lunch/dinner meet up, a cosy winter pint or a summer pint in the front garden. We’ve never been let down with the quality of food or service which has normally been served as part of a large group 12+ including young kids. Keep up the good work ??

Food was priced well and the food was Fabulous .

Very ‘local pub’ feel but the service from the lovely bar lady is incredible. So chatty and makes you feel so welcomed, like you’ve visited 100 times. The fish and chips are also delicious. A very inconspicuous place but highly recommended

Excellent food.. possibly the best fish and chips I’ve had actually! Portions are a good size and excellent quality. I got takeaway but there is an inside diner I believe. Could do with outside seating as it’s not aloud on the benches outside as they’re part of the pub next door. Will definitely use this place again

More importantly, no plaice!! What has become of the little fellow? But hot, fresh cooked, the chips are of the “modern” variety, very good for you with no salt, no fat, almost no taste! Eat them and you’ll live to be 100!

After you had a curry here you won't be able to have it anywhere else - it is simply life changing. The staff are also absolutelt fantastic and so welcoming. I have comr here regularly for many years and always introduce new people to the place and they get just addicted as I am! On top of everything, the prices are so low, it almost feels like robbing them!!
