Celebrated my husband's 60th Birthday last Saturday with dinner for 12 in the Private Dining Room upstairs.
The food is presented to such a high standard that our guests took photos! I wish I had, but I was having too good a time ! And the quality of the food is exceptional. We were attended to discreetly by the excellent team. I've been here before for a Sunday Roast which was also fabulous, but I now want to find some more excuses to go back. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening and your kind assistance helping put on a great 'do.' The steak was delicious ?

Found this by chance on Google Maps as we were looking for a place to eat on route to a hotel stay further out of town. Sounded brilliant from the menu and was even better in person. Delicious food and great service. Might well be worth the detour on future trips up and down the M1!

It’s my fourth visit and this time I dinned solo!
Wow so much food! Every dish was packed full of flavour. Highly recommended Michael, Isabella and Ryan were superb and service was second to none. Definitely has the feel of dining at Harrods or the Ritz ?? if your ever at whittlebury spa or golfing you need to check them out

Stopped on way back to Leicester, we were pleased as it was open for food all day it was a Sunday .Lots of our local pubs close at 4 pm on Sunday for food .
Lovey welcome by staff nice atmosphere.Garden small but looked pleasant to sit in for a quick drink and food . We sat inside only criticism our table rocked a bit like a sea saw ?
We were all pleased with our choice and picking was quite difficult as there was lots we could have chosen from Curries , kebabs, and much more .
The food was delicious nice portion size and presentation was good ! I would say some of the dishes were tad on the more expensive side but there was lots of choice .
The prawn starter was the best prawns I’ve been served in the uk well worth the money !
Pitty we don’t live closer if we are nearby we will definitely be back .

Excellant roast 5* stunning!! Best i've ever had (we both had pork in the end) , excellant pate starter 5* really enjoyed it , although that amount of pate and chutney needs another piece of toasted bread, happens everywhere ive no idea why giving the bread in probably the cheapest bit of the dish ( however i refused to be beaten and just ate the pate and chutney on its own at it was so nice :) ) banoffee cheesecake was underwelming compared to other desserts i've had and tasted like frozen that had been defrosted although my wife thought it was lovely ( i have a major sweetooth so i think i'm right)
Staff were fairly good although we didnt get our cultlery for starter and i got the wrong main which i accepted as the option was to wait 10-15 mins while they prepared the chicken roast i ordered. ( i remember the young lad saying he should remember the starter and main order for just two people as he gave us our drinks to begin ( no glass offered with the bottle of cider until i asked so i would offer people the option as an improvment) ..2 pate, 1 roast pork, one roast chicken was the order but i still ended up with pork and then when it came and i pointed this out i was asked to confirm by the mamager id changed my mind and thats why it had been sent back, no id sent it back because i thought it was someone elses dinner and they had sent it to me while some poor chap on another table was staring at a chicken wondering where his crackling was. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the food and it was a lovely way to celebrate, ate too much as didn't want to leave any bit should have skipped dessert or had a different one and it was a struggle to walk home.:)

Lovely little pub, went as part of a large group and the food was excellent. The service was a bit slow but we were a very large party and they were working really hard to get us all served.
Atmosphere was great, and the pub dog was so friendly!

Just stopped by for a quick drink whilst out in Towester with a friend. First time getting anything from here and I must say I enjoyed every sip! Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Also got to meet a couple of the local dogs who were walking past so that was a bonus!

Fabulous pub with the best staff! 100% love from them all, and I’ve literally been a handful of times! Amazing food, fresh, tasty and just what you imagine you wanted to eat, when you get a chance to go out for a meal. Fantastic value on the menu, the starters/tapas are amazing, chicken wings, Thai chicken & Camembert oh my god! Then 2 for £18 on selected mains. We had really tasty double cheeseburger, proper chips & coleslaw, which was amazing and the chicken with Stilton and mushrooms, wow, with new pots and the best crispy kale! £36 for the lot! Plus drinks obviously xx Amazing Job The White Horse xx
