1911 Coffee Co.
28-30 Queen St, Amble, MorpethSmaller breakfast was by far the best I’ve had in ages.
Black pudding had a great taste, and the local sausages were sublime.
The tea came in clear pots, and NO teabags!
The staff were very friendly and helpful, not over bearing.
Will definitely come again

La Famiglia
80 Queen St, Amble, MorpethWe read reviews of both here and Rossini’s in Amble when deciding where to eat once we decided on Italian. Let’s just say that Rossini’s reviews, although entertaining, made it an easy choice. And glad we did visit La Famiglia. The food was tasty and filling. Both the pizza and the seafood pasta really hit the mark. And very reasonably priced. No complaints at all. Certainly worth a visit if in Amble.

The Harbour Inn - Amble
23 Leazes St, Amble, MorpethWe booked here for lunch today because of the reviews. They didn't dissapoint. It was grandparents, parents and 2 little ones. The poor lady serving solely did a cracking job as did the chef! We all had great meals and both service and food brilliant. Moules Marriniere was excellent! Highly recommend! We may even stay over next time x

Cock & Bull
Queen St, Amble, MorpethAn excellent little pub. What it lacks in size, it makes up character and friendliness. It has a range of different local handpulled beers, I think 5 when I went in, and and good range of lagers and ciders. The barman, who I believe was the owner, was knowledgeable about beer and explained the differences between the local brews on offer. Nothing seemed too much trouble and it was one of those places where you can walk in, relax and have a pleasant chat with the people in there. The friendly atmosphere fostered this approach and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. A good place to visit if you're in Amble.

Kayleigh's kitchen
18 Queen St, Amble, MorpethThis is by far the best place in amble to get something too eat as it's very fairly priced and delicious.. Not like some of the other places in the area that require a lottery win for a lunch

The Dock
Dock Hotel, 27 Queen St, Amble, MorpethI was a cyclist on an overnight stop, they had secure storage for my bike, room was superb, bar was busy downstairs. I only had cereal and fruit for breakfast but there was a great choice. A very friendly owner sat with me and explained the history, was good to know about the history of an old historical building. Thank you again for making my short stay an enjoyable one, all the best for the future.

The Galley
62 Queen St, Amble, MorpethLove the fresh sandwiches, that are prepared by the lovely staff. Sandwiches are well worth the price. Loads of filling. Only problem is they are so gorgeous you only want to eat from there and I'm only in Amble once a week so left craving my Friday sandwich. Hardworking staff, really clean and loads of choice.

Rossini restaurant Amble
47-49 High St, Amble, MorpethWe went here twice on our recent holiday to Amble. Both times we were welcomed happily in, the serving staff were friendly and chatty. The food was lovely. Kids pasta bolognaise was the perfect size so no waste. We would highly recommend any families to go

The Masons Arms
Woodbine St, Amble, MorpethWe visited this pub around 4 years ago on a stay in Alnwick, now we were returning I knew I wanted to go back here! The food is proper home cooked pub food, the steak pie is not to be missed. The service was so friendly, they were so good with our little boy who enjoyed his sausage & potatoes from the children’s menu!
Can’t wait to come back

Radcliffes Cafe Bar
Coble Quay, Amble, MorpethThis was one of the few cafes open for breakfast on a Sunday. They had some outdoor seating in the sun. My ham and cheese croissant was extremely small! Other food and coffee were also fine. It took a very long time for us to get water.

Lily's Landing
27-29 Leazes St, Amble, MorpethDropped in here for a cuppa. Really nice place, good choice, nice and well prepared food (Gluten free, Vegetarian, Soya milk etc.). The cleanest Cafe I've ever seen! Very nice and conscientious staff (hence the spotlessly clean) and really looked after the disabled customers too.

The Old Boathouse
Leazes St, Amble, MorpethAbsolutely fantastic restaurant.
Wasn’t a planned visit , we thought we would try our luck getting a table as it was very busy.
Success, we got a lovely table on the side street.
My wife had the Fish & Chips, I had the Bass and our son had the kids Pizza.
All the food was exceptional, the staff were brilliantly. Highly recommend this place if you get a chance to visit.

Bengal Spice Tandoori
67 Queen St, Amble, MorpethAfter seeing the bad reviews we nearly didn't go here for a holiday take away. However I'm so pleased we read the menu and gave it a try. The food was all full of flavour, not too much ghee, so it wasn't over oily. The meat was all good quality, I can be fussy if the meat has funny bits and that was not the case here, all tasty fresh and good pieces.
Favorite things about it was the veg Samosas were fresh made, not frozen bought in. The best thing for me, where we live I can not get a decent dansak and the chicken Tikka dansak from here was one of the best I've had, absolutely delicious. The breads were very good, loved my veg stuffed paratha.
Will definitely be having another take away from here when we visit Amble again. Tip top, give it a try.
