19 Bridge St, Warkworth, MorpethWe tried here one afternoon while looking for somewhere to escape the horrible weather as of late. Had coffee and cake and like the place so much we returned two weeks later for Sunday lunch and it is perfect. We had the three courses and everything was perfectly cooked, the timing between courses and the friendly staff were just perfect. We live twenty miles away so a lovely drive up the coast and a nice walk for the dog followed by a visit here is brilliant.

The Castle Brew House
6 Castle Terrace, Warkworth, MorpethI was a bit disappointed by this place. The style doesn't quite work with the clientele, in my opinion. However, the staff are friendly and the beer was good.
As a sports bar it does a good job with multiple screens showing the game. The drinkers probably don't need the commentary piped through as well though.
The food was poor. I had the Mac and cheese which was plain macaroni under a layer of very well grilled cheese. My wife had liver which was passable and my sons burger was ok. Maybe we hit it on a bad night but the place has potential if they can up the game in the kitchen.
