Main Rd, WylamAfter a day's walking Hadrian's Wall, this was a fabulous find. Having travelled to Italy many times, as well as LOVING pizza, I can honestly say this was some of the best pizza I've ever had!\n\nNot only was it tasty, with plenty of toppings, there was real variety from the usual offerings. My Philly Cheesesteak (a special) was awesome, as were all the others - freshly made and accounting for a gluten-free option. \n\nOn top of this, our 2 waitresses, Emily & Anna, were superb. Incredibly friendly and welcoming, perfect for a group who weren't locals.\n\nI only wish we were here again, so I could sample another flavour!

Bistro En Glaze
Laburnum House, WylamOutstanding and rare find. We visited today for lunch and were blown away. Prices were incredibly reasonable. Food was rapid, hot, fresh and very tasty. Portions were perfect. Even the drinks were excellent (clearly actual lemonade and not just soda as in other establishments) and the coffee was great too.
Our young server was brilliant. Unfortunately didn't get his name but he could not have been more attentive. He immediately sorted us a bowl of fresh water for our dog. He ensured service was quick and friendly, even stopping by to check we were enjoying our dishes.
The outdoor seating area was even perfect. Peaceful, safe for a dog, spacious and great ambiance.
We look forward to visiting again.

The Boathouse
Station Rd, WylamI have always loved this place. Many a winters night in front of the open fire drinking excellent ale.

Black Bull Inn
Main Rd, WylamWhat a great atmosphere in here. Not sure if it was the manager who was wearing the Hawaiian shirt but very friendly and remembered my order even though I'd never been in there before. Atlantic Pale Ale was first class and I'll definitely be back.

Bradley Gardens
Sled Ln, WylamPumpkin and parmesan soup with toasted sage leaves was exceptionally delicious, coupled with a cheese scone for a £1 supplement, made for incredible value. Staff cheerful and accomodating as ever, particularly Joanna.

41 Jackson Rd, WylamWe decided on a takeaway from Wylam Garden, hadn't realised it was cash only which then required a rethink on what we was getting (don't really carry much am cash on us anymore!). Thankfully most of the main dishes come with a rice (fried rice slightly extra) or chips, so we managed to get a fair sized meal fore the family on what we had. Salt and pepper chicken was nice, and the honey chilli pork was a favourite for my wife. The show stopper however was the prawn toast, both me and my son commented on how nice it was! Rice and chips were OK. Would come here again just to order some prawn toast, although I spotted the Spicy chips after we had ordered, so perhaps would give them a go as well!

Fox & Hounds
Main Rd, WylamVery tasty lasagna, friendly service, lots of friendly dogs (no foxes though) and overall positive, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. There is even a part of the room where dogs are not allowed (to accomodate those people who would prefer that for some reason). Very happy with our choice for dinner today.
