Inverness-shire, Macdonald Highlands Hotel, AviemoreFood was delicious, staff were nice. Think we may have been over charged for our meal but think this may be due to how the hotel works. I would avoid staying in the hotel though.

Craggan More Rd, Dalfaber Dr, AviemoreWe came there by chance in a group. Without a reservation it wasn't a problem. At the beginning we were told about the staffing problem with 1 chef at that time, but we only had to wait 10 minutes for starters and the main courses didn't take long to arrive.The service was extremely friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes. It was great for us tourists.The food was mega ?, the portions were huge, and the fish and chips barely fit on the plate. The soup of the day (carrot-orange) was also so fine and large that it was almost enough.We would all go there again and can highly recommend it.

43 Grampian Rd, AviemoreOn holiday near Aviemore, our eldest fancied a curry, this seemed to be the only one around. I was a little apprehensive given the negative reviews however we couldn't be happier.
A Sunday night, very quiet.
Waiters were constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Full of smiles and couldn't be more helpful.
The food was absolutely delicious, flavoursome, piping hot and as expected. (We love a good curry and often make our own at home as well)
No complaints.
Happy with the price.
Will definitely come again.
Waiter came with a free ice cream at the end for the kids too. Lovely touch.
Facilities also clean.

Coffee Corner
85 Grampian Rd, AviemoreWe’d been to the wildlife park at Kincraig and came into aviemore for a late lunch. We were delighted with the menu choices, service and quality of food. 5 of us fed and watered for £50. Excellent value. I had soup which was proper hearty lentil soup. 2 of the party had baked potatoes, I had a toasty and the other had a breakfast filled roll. Service was quick and friendly. We would recommend and come back ourselves.

1 Braeriach Rd, Kincraig, KingussieWhat an amazing place to eat in! We had a lovely late lunch here, everything so fresh and tasty!! We loved the salad which was very refreshing and full of ingredients. The coffee was also delicious! You should definitely cone here and eat and enjoy!

The Pine Marten Bar
Pine Marten Bar, Glenmore, AviemoreIdeal spot inside the Cairngorms with Loch Morlich a few meters away and the Aviemore adventurer bus stop around the corner.
We rented the Treehouse which was lovely! you can see the tree inside! Haha
All you need inside the treehouse (kitchen, bedding etc)
The bar was great too, very chill atmosphere and great food/drinks!
If the weather is not great, beware of the lack of space inside! It was full on our first night!

Miele's Gelateria Aviemore
98 Grampian Rd, AviemoreBest place we have eaten whilst visiting Aviemore! Had the garlic chicken and mozzarella focaccia and it was absolutely divine! Followed by the milkybar ice cream. amazing! Popped back today for some cannoli which are delicious. Spoke to Diane who works there and she was lovely, really nice telling us about the food and italian desserts. Can't wait to come back! 100% recommend this gem of a place! xx

Aviemore, opp Burnside Avenue, AviemoreI’ve always wanted to try Pizzariach but have never managed to get there on my many trips to Aviemore.
I opted to sit in and get the mountain 12’ pizza.
The pizza was delicious. Superb tomato base and well done bread.
The homemade coleslaw was also excellent.
One minor issue was the majority of the toppings were in the centre of the pizza, leaving most of the outer edges with only tomato base.
I will be back!

Units 12, 13 Grampian Rd, AviemoreVisited last week two family’s 10 of us . I Gota say the best food in aviemore by far . Food was so good and the service off both partners was best I’ve come across . Very friendly, took time to chat about the area and our plans .
Can’t Waite til next year to visit again keep it up guys

Dalfaber Rd, AviemoreI don’t do reviews very often but I honestly believe the Aviemore Inn definitely deserves the recognition, We tend to vist Aviemore each winter and always like to try eating out, and I have to say Aviemore Inn has been the best place to eat out that we have visited as far, the food was fantastic and the hospitality was even better, we even managed to get in a few games of Pool after dinner thanks again Mary for us we will most definitely come again next year ?

AviemoreCame here last year camping an good for quick bite and some nice pints, love this place but only thing that upset me was they used to be open daily till about 1am now they only open Friday and sat from 2pm till 10 pm, I do my camping trips from a sat till the Thurs so whole timebi camping can only go in here on the sat because not open rest of week, apart from that nice place, just wish they would open every day like before, because of this no longer camping at rothiemurchus which is my favourite campsite

Retail Park, AviemoreFirst time here since new seating layout and very impressed.
Food was excellent but table was covered in crumbs from a previous occupant which was hard to see until we sat down.
Lots of staff but no one noticed we had finished our food and had to go up to ask for cakes and coffee....then yhe server came over and took our order but did not clear the table....and they weren't busy!!!
Love the food and staff very friendly but need to get their act together.
The cherry and pistachio cake was out of this world!!!

Unit 4, Retail Park, Grampian Rd, AviemoreIt wasn't busy when I visited in early July. There are seats outside the shop front. However, not so many seats indoors, in my opinion. Nonetheless, it offers comfortable seating and very well presented. I would not recommend this for a business meeting due to the much open area. Service was good and friendly.

Grampian Rd, AviemoreThis is a great little find at £94 per night right opposite the premier inn at £120+ per night. In my opinion this place is far nicer. The rooms are spotless and have everything you could need, including a fridge. Italian restaurant next door which is great too. Rated as superb on booking.com too.

Rowan Tree Country Hotel & Restaurant
Loch, Alvie, AviemoreWe had been looking for somewhere in the area for a special meal as we were staying locally for my Mum’s 80th birthday. Several people mentioned the Rowan Tree, and we were delighted with it - the food was of incredibly high quality, and the staff really couldn’t have been more helpful. Mum had a brilliant evening and the Rowan Tree played a massive part in that!

45 Grampian Rd, AviemoreGreat fish and chips shop. Everything tasted amazing!!! There was a huge queue when I arrived and loads of people waiting but the wait was not long. They run like a very well oiled machine. Fresh food, huge portions. Worth the money.

125 Grampian Rd, AviemoreWe stayed at the Balavoulin for two nights with our 6 month old son and had a fabulous time. The dinner and the breakfast were amazing. The staff were very friendly and kind. They did everything to make us feel home. They were so supportive of us during the little one’s nap times. On top of that everything on the menu can be made gluten free - which was my favourite thing about our stay :)

Cairngorm Hotel, 77 Grampian Rd, AviemoreWhat a wonderful stay we had at this hotel.
We upgraded to a slightly bigger room which was clean, warm, fresh and adequate for our 2 night stay.
Hotel is very dog friendly which was a big bonus.
Despite being in centre of town there is nearby grassy areas for dogs.
Housekeeping staff very friendly as were restaurant.
Check in and out was quick and easy.
Nothing at all to complain about.
We had dinner bed and breakfast deal and food was of good quality and freshly cooked to order.
Would definitely recommend and will be back soon for another stay.
