Admirals Inn Public House

What a gem this place was, went on a Saturday lunchtime without a reservation and they managed to sit us (group of 5). Food was so good, sorry I forgot to take photos. Had a couple of fussy eaters with us and they loved everything.

Starters were: Cullen Skink, halloumi fries, mozzarella sticks and haggis & black pudding bon bons, all delicious.

Mains were: Fish & chips x 2, the batter was so light and just really good, Steak & Ale pie (this was wow), Macaroni (my daughter is very particular about her Macaroni and loved it), and a breaded chicken basket.

Didn't have room for dessert. For 5 of us including soft drinks beers and wines we were £155 and was worth every penny.

It did get quite busy before we left and there were also people eating in the lounge bar.

I will be going back, food great, location great and staff were great.
