Restaurants in Kingussie
Cafe Bistro
57High St, KingussieThe Bistro is only open for dinner on Friday and Saturdays and it is a small restaurant right on the main street of Kingussie, I would say reservations a must! It is also BYOB with no corkage fee! (They don't serve alcohol) The food was outstanding and the couple who appeared to run the show were impressively efficient even though she did warn us that food "was made to order" which I think translates to "it might take a while"! (We just settled in and enjoyed the time)

SUIE BAR
Kincraig, KingussieThe Suie bar is a traditional bar offering at least 4 real ales including the local brewery in Aviemore and they are kept in tip top condition, they also offer a full range of keg beers including lager, cider and Guinness and they also offer a wide range of non alcoholic beverages. Food only accompanies sponsored events and Sharon cooks this at home because the kitchen at the Suie is not up to standard.Alan employs good staff who are a credit to both himself and the Suie. If you are looking for a traditional pub in the Highlands look no further than the Suie.

The Sugarbowl
30 High St, KingussieLovely little shop. We had the small breakfast which was far from small. The cups of tea and coffee were large and everything was hot. Food was amazing and prices were reasonable.

Columba House
Manse Rd, KingussieGot a great rate for a single night in the Spey suite - lovely bed, private bathroom and loads of space! Everything was functional and well managed - with the exception being a slight mishap with the key safe, which I was walked through over the phone by the manager. Great location in terms of walking down into Kingussie for dinner since the hotel doesn't have its own catering facilities, as well as brilliant transport access from the A9 with dedicated on and off slips into Kingussie as opposed to other junctions. Would definitely stay again!
