5 Argyle St, UllapoolA great stop for a delicous filled roll and tasty coffee sitting outside watching the world go by but what we came back to again and again was the fantastic selection of cheeses from all over the North of Scotland and beyond. Friendly chatty service and great prices means this is a goto every time in Ullapool

This was random as I was sorting my camp chassis.
I give this, for pastry alone, 12/10

211, Altandhu, UllapoolWonderful experience with excellent food and service. Portions are very generous and super tasty. Chicken and steak pies were incredible, served with lovely fresh seasonal veg. Easy access from the campsite is an extra plus. Relaxed atmosphere and varied menu, but you need to book a table in advance. Definitely recommend!

The Little Bakehouse
West Ln, UllapoolCame here as they made my husbands birthday cake in April. Loved the cake so had to try the bakery. Had scone, cupcake and drinks. Everything was freshly made and very tasty. 5 stars. When in Edinburgh again, we would come here again and well recommended.

Clachan Garden Clachan, Lochbroom, GarveBeautiful and very clean rooms, to a very high standard. The house is wonderfully situated in the countryside near Ullapool, where you can find good restaurants within easy reach. Everything is done with love, the breakfast was the best I had in my whole holiday in Scotland. Very interesting people who are deeply rooted in their incredibly beautiful homeland. That's why Stephen can give you the best tips for hiking.

Argyll Hotel
18 Argyle St, UllapoolWe stayed here for one night as a couple. The room had a great view overlooking the harbour. The bed was very clean and comfy. The decoration was a touch tired and could do with a refresh.
The continental breakfast was spot on for us.
I would definitely recommend staying here.

Quay St, UllapoolA fabulous man eal served with efficiency and a friendly smile ? We had two courses as there was a two courses deal on...but we could've had just a starter as the cullen skink was both filling and very tasty! ? Now for a long walk to help with the calories!!!!!??

West Ln, UllapoolWe ordered a korma and a tikka masala. Service was 25 mins (cash only) and food was delicious! We were camping at the adjacent campsite and missed home comforts - this was better than home!
