Main Rd, Norton in Hales, Market DraytonWe took some long-time friends here for our annual Xmas meal and the entire experience was faultless. The food was amazing, plentiful and served with a smile and a well-masked tolerance for our shocking humour. The staff were all fantastic, whether behind the bar or taking our orders and bringing drinks. Every member of our party commented and how good the night had been and were adamant we should return soon.
Simply lovely food and service, the best for many, many miles around.

Betton Mill, 1 Betton Rd, Market DraytonWhat a gem of a place this is! Relaxed atmosphere with attentive owners and staff. Came here impromptu with my husband to celebrate my birthday whilst travelling on our narrowboat. Was able to book my table on line with timely confirmation of booking. We were given a warm welcome and taken to our table. There was a place to put our wet coats and umbrella so we could relax in comfort.The wine flights invite you to have a bit of fun as we try to work out which wines we’d been given…they were all interesting with good depth of flavours. The food follows a Mediterranean theme based mostly around cheese but other dishes are available, fresh flavours, deep toppings with an emphasis on the natural and the unprocessed, keeping carbs to a minimum, and this includes the choice of snacks. In no time at all we felt like we were returning locals rather than random strangers. We will definitely find a way to return to this fabulous wine cellar! Thank you so much for a memorable evening. Xx

26 Cheshire St, Market Draytonwe had a bacon and egg bap and a breakfast wrap both were the best we've had the wrap.waa full not like most places you go and get a limp wrap and the bacon was cooked just right and the egg was lovely and runny just how I like it . and the school cake was lovely and definitely worth the price I will definitely be ordering again and always delivered with a smile from the amazing team at tillys

The Red Lion Inn
Great Hales St, Market DraytonWe stopped in for a quick birthday lunch on a snow day and were welcomed into a warm and inviting pub, good selection of draught beers, some brewed in house and reasonably priced. We sat by the log burner at the cosy nook end of the pub and ordered two Green Monkey beer battered fish and chips, with a side of gravy and curry sauce. Both arrived promptly and hot, very crispy batter and good chips. Mushy peas and home made tartar sauce. Very delicious ?
We will definitely be back.

Newcott Fish & Chips
A41 Chester Rd, Tern Hill, Market DraytonThis is an update and replacement for by 2017 review in which I gave a bad score. My family ordered a take-out meal for 6 in January 2024 and it was very good. The standards have improved massively and I no longer hold a complaint against the Newcott outlet. For anyone planning to visit and reading this, it is well worth a try.

Fish and chips are surprisingly some of the best I've tried that isn't from a traditional fish and chip shop too!Staff are always friendly and on hand to help with anything. For some reason the chips from here were just built different to the others ones, in a good way. They were always nice. The chicken would be decent too. Not amazing but would still eat. Wings were nice too.

Redwood, Rose Hill Rd, Rosehill, Market DraytonOne of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to - if not the best, came from a competition at the local shooting range to be met with brilliant service and American-esque portions. The portions were brilliant, the taste was to match and the atmosphere was wonderful. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone who isn’t a vegetarian and even then I’d suggest they’d suggest it to a mate.

The Sandbrook Vaults, 4 Shropshire St, Market DraytonLovely pub with attractive courtyard for those of us who like a crafty cigar with their ale. The Boss chatted with us for a while and even offered my friend a free taster of their craft ale offerings. Beautiful interior and an interesting cross-section of the local population.

Not a noisy atmosphere so it is great to go to where you can chat to the staff and to your family and friends. \n\nThe food is always delicious. My husband likes the mixed tray of curries so that he gets to try a little bit of everything. I always have the mixed vegetable korma. The food is hot, tasty and come as good sized portions. \n\nThe staff are always pleasant and cheerful and are on hand to make suggestions if you want to try something new or different. Nothing is too much trouble for them. \n\nIt is reasonably priced and we highly recommend it.

High St, Cheswardine, Market DraytonIt’s safe to say this is mine and my partners favourite place to eat out. The food is incredible every time, and after moving a bit further away we still regularly travel back to enjoy their food. My partner is in love with the minted lamb shoulder and nowhere else quite compares for him haha! We can’t recommend enough.

Massive portions of meat, homemade large Yorkshire puds, roast potatoes and loads of veg, absolutely lovely atmosphere and the staff couldn't do enough for you xx Easily the best Sunday roast in Market Drayton, 11 out of 10 easily, thankyou sooo much xxx

79 Shropshire St, Market DraytonAlways amazing food, lovely staff, will kindly adapt any order to suit the customers needs, they always give me free coke and prawn crackers and the bbq sauce is the best in town (I’ve tried them all and this is by far my favourite) - wouldn’t go anywhere else for takeaway Chinese. But would be good if they could take card payments.
Not sure why previous reviews say they aren’t open regularly- they are just closed on Wednesday.

Service was on the laid back side of things so maybe not ideal for a quick visit, but a very nice place to stop by for cake and drink or a meal if the menu tickles your fancy. Nicely furnished and decorated, background music that doesn't interfere, all told gives the place a slightly bohemian atomosphere
