The team were really welcoming and attentive and had a good understanding of the menu, explaining and recommending dishes. The food was superb, we thoroughly enjoyed the beef cheeks and seabass and the Thai chicken curry was outstanding! Unique presentation that delivered massively on flavours. Lovely vibe, we will definitely be back.

Betton Mill, 1 Betton Rd, Market DraytonWhat a gem of a place this is! Relaxed atmosphere with attentive owners and staff. Came here impromptu with my husband to celebrate my birthday whilst travelling on our narrowboat. Was able to book my table on line with timely confirmation of booking. We were given a warm welcome and taken to our table. There was a place to put our wet coats and umbrella so we could relax in comfort.The wine flights invite you to have a bit of fun as we try to work out which wines we’d been given…they were all interesting with good depth of flavours. The food follows a Mediterranean theme based mostly around cheese but other dishes are available, fresh flavours, deep toppings with an emphasis on the natural and the unprocessed, keeping carbs to a minimum, and this includes the choice of snacks. In no time at all we felt like we were returning locals rather than random strangers. We will definitely find a way to return to this fabulous wine cellar! Thank you so much for a memorable evening. 15 Cheshire St, Market DraytonVisited the property as a of 9 on a very late booking taken as the proprietor new some of the party.They gave us the table as long as we would vacate by 20 00hrs.4 of the party chose a banquet whilst the others a starter and a main.The food as such was plentiful and tasty and washed down with a couple of drinks. We were all of the opinion that the Satay Chicken starter was the star of the show,but to be fair the rest(10 different dishes)were very close. This restaurant is highly recommended by all of us and if you are looking for a Chinese restaurant in the Market Drayton area this will fit the bill

Tilly's Sweetness Breakfast Sandwich & Dessert Treat
26 Cheshire St, Market Draytonwe had a bacon and egg bap and a breakfast wrap both were the best we've had the wrap.waa full not like most places you go and get a limp wrap and the bacon was cooked just right and the egg was lovely and runny just how I like it . and the school cake was lovely and definitely worth the price I will definitely be ordering again and always delivered with a smile from the amazing team at tillys

Great Hales St, Market DraytonWe booked The Red Lion for a family occasion and ordered a buffet lunch / reception. \n\nEverything was ready and waiting for us - as promised. Anything that we’d asked for was there. All of the food was spot on and homemade. The sausage rolls were great. We’d over catered slightly but nothing was wasted. Everybody that wanted to was encouraged to take food home in boxes supplied by the pub. \n\nThe staff working were very unobtrusive but always on hand if anything was needed. Checking with everyone there were no complaints at all. We only found empty plates and compliments. For what we ordered and the quality of the food the bill was reasonable.

Oruna Cuisine
63-65 Shropshire St, Market Draytonvisiting on our narrowboat so decided to eat out. Quite a walk into town and found the pubs a bit rough and some places were closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Spotted this restaurant and decided to go in. We were not disappointed, the menu was extensive with both Indian and British food at really reasonable prices .The food was delicious and the drinks were very reasonable too.

My family ordered a take-out meal for 6 in January 2024 and it was very good. The standards have improved massively and I no longer hold a complaint against the Newcott outlet. For anyone planning to visit and reading this, it is well worth a try.

Adderley Rd, Market DraytonWe popped in for a carvery with our little dog. Very pet friendly. We had a standard carvery and had 3 meats and loads of vegetables for a very good price . I was helped with my food to the table as I walk with a stick. The staff very kindly brought a large takeaway container full of turkey for the dog, so she thinks this place is fabulous.

The portions were brilliant, the taste was to match and the atmosphere was wonderful. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone who isn’t a vegetarian and even then I’d suggest they’d suggest it to a mate.

The Sandbrook Vaults, 4 Shropshire St, Market DraytonLovely pub with attractive courtyard for those of us who like a crafty cigar with their ale. The Boss chatted with us for a while and even offered my friend a free taster of their craft ale offerings. Beautiful interior and an interesting cross-section of the local population.

The food is incredible every time, and after moving a bit further away we still regularly travel back to enjoy their food. My partner is in love with the minted lamb shoulder and nowhere else quite compares for him haha! We can’t recommend enough.

79 Shropshire St, Market DraytonAlways amazing food, lovely staff, will kindly adapt any order to suit the customers needs, they always give me free coke and prawn crackers and the bbq sauce is the best in town (I’ve tried them all and this is by far my favourite) - wouldn’t go anywhere else for takeaway Chinese. But would be good if they could take card payments.
Not sure why previous reviews say they aren’t open regularly- they are just closed on Wednesday.

Service was on the laid back side of things so maybe not ideal for a quick visit, but a very nice place to stop by for cake and drink or a meal if the menu tickles your fancy. Nicely furnished and decorated, background music that doesn't interfere, all told gives the place a slightly bohemian atomosphere

Not a noisy atmosphere so it is great to go to where you can chat to the staff and to your family and friends. \n\nThe food is always delicious. My husband likes the mixed tray of curries so that he gets to try a little bit of everything. I always have the mixed vegetable korma. The food is hot, tasty and come as good sized portions. \n\nThe staff are always pleasant and cheerful and are on hand to make suggestions if you want to try something new or different. Nothing is too much trouble for them. \n\nIt is reasonably priced and we highly recommend it.

Fish and chips are surprisingly some of the best I've tried that isn't from a traditional fish and chip shop too!Staff are always friendly and on hand to help with anything.
