5 Northload St, GlastonburyWorking local a bit of chippy tea research brought me to this gem in the heart of Glastonbury.
It’s won the national fish & chip restaurant award for a reason you really will not be disappointed.
I had the Haddock Special with fruity curry sauce topped with a battered black pudding.
The batter was lovely and crispy not greasy at all the Haddock sublime just flaked with the slightest touch and the chips perfect!
Give it a try your taste buds will be in orbit.

Glastonbury Brewers Fayre
Morland Rd, GlastonburyTypical Beefeater, with standard Beefeater menus. This one is comfy family pub. We ate here both for our evening meals and to partake of the related Premier Inn (next-door) inclusive buffet breakfast. The evening meals arrived freshly cooked, and the buffet breakfast was also kept fresh (including nicely cooked scrambled eggs). On the plus side, the staff were excellent, worked hard, provided good service, and were very welcoming. On the minus side, Beefeater seem to have tried to cut staffing to the bare minimum, which can mean the team can get overloaded at times. A little more sympathy from senior management is needed!

12-14 Magdalene St, GlastonburyI stayed one night .. Staff were helpful GREAT location. Room was really lovely. Self service hot drinks in room . Super view of Glastonbury main street . Really loved staying here. Restaurant garden has super mural. Great family atmosphere in restaurant /bar. I was there in a Sundaybto Monday..busy and friendly. Recommend.

Domino's Pizza - Glastonbury
Unit 3 Wirral Park Rd, Glastonbury⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I was a bit skeptical of this dominos due to the comments but the pizza was great, was ready super quick and every single staff member give me a big smile when I walked in, if your put off by the reviews don’t be it was a nice normal dominos.

9 King St, GlastonburyI was staying at a B&B in Glastonbury last weekend. I'd been told by several people how good the fish & chips were here. The staff were really friendly & let me eat in (as I was unsure if I could take food back to the B&B)The cod was perfect, amazing batter & the chips were equally tasty. Great portions, good value & amazing service! Highly recommend! Next time I'm in Glastonbury, I will be sure to visit!

The staff are friendly and very helpful. The food is a delight and so flavourful. The atmosphere relaxed . As gluten free veggie it is so good to have a choice of dishes.

King Arthur, 31-33 Benedict St, GlastonburyThe king Arthur was our local pub between 1999 and 2006. It's a pub that welcomes all without discrimination or prejudice. It's a fun pub, where locals and visitors mix alongside each other with respect. My wife and young daughter returned after 21 years and I'm pleased to say it's the same today as it was then. If there's a 'typical Glastonbury pub', then this is it. Peace and Love?

4 Chilkwell St, GlastonburyPopped in for some pints at the recommendation of our Inn Keeper. A real old world traditional English pub. The ambiance was cozy with the dark woods and old fire place. Unfortunately the bar keep was quite young and didn’t really know much about what she was pouring.

Unit 1, travel lodge, A39 Wirral Park Rd, GlastonburyWent here twice in a week staying in hotel. So food was delicious ate every item I got, the fish was little oily compared to what I'm use to but still tasty. The burgers are great value full of salad etc.

The lady behind the bar was friendly and welcoming .we had a couple of baguettes with very generous fillings,served with crisps,salad and coleslaw at a a bargain £7.50 each. A great spot to people watch the wonderful high street of Glastonbury.

43 High St, GlastonburyThis is the best, worst kept, secret in Glastonbury.. a fantastic pub with a huge shady garden. You can bring takeaway food in and they provide plates and cutlery.. just buy drinks and it's all good. The garden is now home to the Greenmen of Glastonbury. A community group who hold, sing along fires on alternate Saturday evening.

When I got home and served it to my family, oh my god!! It was absolutely delicious!! My gosh it was so lush!!

Lazy Gecko Cafe
8 Magdalene St, GlastonburyWe arrived at about two so were not sure if we could get eats. We did and the Somerset Smokie was brilliant ,other half's Omelette was great she said and the fillings were different which was good, something different. Lovely staff and great kitchen staff too. Altogether a great experience. The music leaves a bit to be desired but nowhere is perfect!

16 Magdalene St, GlastonburyI can only say that we were today and we had an exceptional sunday roast! Everything is homemade and that makes the difference. Worth to say that the cheesecake (gluten free) is one of the best I've ever had. Sticky toffee pudding also great!! I couldnt take any photos as we were starving and there was no time!!
