very cozy place. The tartar suace and fried hake are very delicious. It's a pity the seafood bowl is out of stock and i do not have belly to try the dessert here.
From the photos on Google map, it seems can modify the style & flavor of chips and batter.(maybe i should ask for that...)

P.S. The pendulum clock by the fireplace is running slow(approximately 3 min）

16 of us went here for a birthday breakfast. Table was ready when we arrived and got seated straight away. Buffet style, self service breakfast was great. Choose what you fancy and go back for more if you want it. Plenty of food choices for everyone from cereals, pastries, toast, and of course the full range of cooked breakfast ingredients.
Food was good, nobody left the pub hungry

Staff are friendly & professional, they seem to work well together, so it's a comfortable atmosphere. The cleaning staff deserve a huge thank you they do a sterling job, I was hugely impressed with their effort, I had to hand it to Sue who cleaned my room, I was really impressed with the standard of service here. Sue & her colleague Liz take their job super seriously & go the extra mile as do all of the staff here. And did I mention the breakfast? My husband couldn't make the trip but asked me to bring the breakfast back with me (!) it's the best in the area.

I was staying at a B&B in Glastonbury last weekend. I'd been told by several people how good the fish & chips were here. The staff were really friendly & let me eat in (as I was unsure if I could take food back to the B&B)The cod was perfect, amazing batter & the chips were equally tasty. Great portions, good value & amazing service! Highly recommend! Next time I'm in Glastonbury, I will be sure to visit!

I can only say that we were today and we had an exceptional sunday roast! Everything is homemade and that makes the difference. Worth to say that the cheesecake (gluten free) is one of the best I've ever had. Sticky toffee pudding also great!! I couldnt take any photos as we were starving and there was no time!!

This place, feels like home.
You get a mixed bag here, local and otherwise drinks, heart cooked food, a Glastonbury vibe all tied together with a respectful house. A cosy firepit to socialise, live music (bands and otherwise), beautiful murals in the large outdoor seating area. The vibe is different in each area of the property. I have always felt welcome, im sure you are welcome too.

Popped in for some pints at the recommendation of our Inn Keeper. A real old world traditional English pub. The ambiance was cozy with the dark woods and old fire place. Unfortunately the bar keep was quite young and didn’t really know much about what she was pouring.
