Unit 2 Church Rd, Bason Bridge, HighbridgeFeels like a local secret this place, it's that good! Crazy cheap highest quality brewery beer and absolutely divine food from the shack outside. I haven't had such a good burger with proper crispy bacon in a longtime and I have been lucky to travel all over. Absolute gem?

The Fox & Goose Hotel Bar and Restaurant
Bristol Rd, Brent Knoll, HighbridgeStay here before, good night's sleep, great location. Only down side is tea/coffee is extra at breakfast, so £35.50 for breakfast for 2 is a bit steep, we'll stay somewhere else in the future.

Brent Rd, East Brent, HighbridgeWe had Sunday lunch at the Brent Knoll, the girls were lovely and friendly, our food was tasty but I missed the green veg. We had mixed meats which was nice, but veg wise you get a few roasties, carrots and parsnips. I was just hoping for some brocoli or beans then it would have really finished the dinner off right. Also you only get a dribble of gravy over the food so you need to ask for extra if u like your gravy otherwise it will be a bit dry.

Hong Kong Chinese Takeaway
111 Church St, HighbridgeMy usual Chinese was unable to deliver today, so I decided on this one as it both delivers, and takes card payment. A little pricier than what I would usually pay (that's what lost it a star), but the food quality was fantastic, and was delivered piping hot in under half an hour. I will use again

28 Church St, HighbridgeHad fish, chip and mushy peas. The fish was beautifully fresh and the batter was crisp without being soggy; tasted good too. Chips were well cooked. Staff were lovely and helpful, sorry I forgot their names. Thank you from the lady in the caravan.

My son did the collection and the order was ready exactly when promised, with friendly service and careful packing. Everything was still piping hot when we got home. The dishes tasted freshly cooked—crisp vegetables, tender meat, and sauces that were balanced rather than overly sweet or salty. Portions were generous and the value was excellent. It’s the best Chinese we’ve had in a long time, and we’ll certainly be returning.
