4 St Mary's Grove, Nailsea, BristolHad a wonderful dinner with my family at this resturant. The tuna baguette was sublime and the cheesy chips were divine. All at a great price point. Only downside was that food is not avaliable on Sundays.

Netherton Wood Ln, Nailsea, BristolReluctant to write a review on the basis that more people will go there and it will be harder for me to book a table as I mentioned sunder, but here I am ?. All jokes aside, THE best roast in Bristol, and I’ve eaten plenty of them to feel qualified enough to give that rating. The land lady is an absolute Vibe and delicious soul and the girls behind the bar are delightful, I’ve never seen the chefs but hats off to them for their culinary skills. The quirkiest setting mixed with traditional open fire, Litterally can’t fault this place. I wish England had more traditional pubs like this remaining and that it was closer to my house. Will be Sunday roasting at every given Sunday opportunity.

Coates House
The Queens Head, 91 High St, Nailsea, BristolTwo visits here, (Wednesday and Tursday) and both were excellent.
Night one, I had the hunters chicken. Cooked beautifully and not too much sauce as to drown the plate as some places usually do.
Night two, I had steak, cooked nicely complimented with a peppercorn sauce that was rich but not overpowering. The chips were amazing.
Portion sizes both nights were just right.
A clean, (very) quiet, and pleasant environment. Most likely quiet due to the glorious weather we had that week. Staff members were polite and courteous. One young gentleman one night one. 2 young gentlemen and a lovely lady on night two.
The only issue, that some might flag up, is that the bar was left unattended for a period, leaving you waiting a few minutes. But when you're working on your own, starting the shut down, you can't be everywhere at once. Working in this sector in the past, at least I understand it.
I was only in Nailsea working for a few days. But if ever I'm down there for work again. I would definitely come again.
Sadly. The advertised quiz nights are on a Sunday if I recall correctly. Shame as I'd have loved to have taken part!
Highly recommended. You will not regret it.

The staff are super friendly and the overall setting and pub is lovely! The back garden is a great space and we very much enjoyed our visit here again! Fish and chips (actual cod!!!!) was amazing and the gammon was cooked to perfection! Not one fault at all! Thank you - we'll recommend and be back! ?

The new landlady Max is always very friendly and warm, they have darts and live sports, the drinks are a reasonable price and the locals are accepting to all. Nice cozy fire and outdoor heaters on cold nights. I recommend this pub for either a couple of drinks with the dog or an evening with friends.

The staff are also very friendly and professional, only little problem is they are not as attentive as they could be and ordering and paying can take a while especially considering, there are a few of them and not particularly a huge amount of tables.

Unit 16, Crown Glass Place, Nailsea, BristolWe order dominos to be delivered to me often and the guys who deliver are always so friendly and love seeing my dog. The food is amazing. We got the burger fries and the carbonara pizza for the first time and oh my gosh they were amazing.

And Lois who was in the kitchen made food so quickly I was in shock haha!! All around amazing and lovely food was very happy!! Would definitely recommend and think these two need a raise!!

16, Colliers Walk, Nailsea, BristolOut on a cycle ride to Nailsea, always stop for a sandwich and coffee on our rides, other outlets are getting a bit ridiculous on cost , so ave Greg's a go, can't argue with value, it's not going to be top notch stuff but excellent for a quick bite to eat and a coffee.
