Kingsdon, SomertonAs a chef myself, taking a night off from my restaurant, l came for your post Xmas set menu last Friday.
I am so often these days disappointed with expensive mediocre food being served everywhere.
I wasn’t disappointed, l joined some girlfriends for a get together. Everything was excellent, from service to beautifully presented and delicious food. Excellent value for money, as l know how hard it is to produce this level of catering for such a tight budget. Will definately come again, and thank you.

4, Brunel Shopping Centre, SomertonWhat a hidden gem ?. The woman owner could not have been more helpful and polite if she tried. The food was fantastic with such a wide choice. Proper produce cooked expertly and came out piping hot ? rest assured we will be back keep up the good work you put other restaurants and cafes in the area two shame. The establishment was very clean and well-behaved dogs are allowed thanks again.

In spite of the naysayers a group of 6 of us decended on this joyous place for cream teas, and they couldn't have been more obliging, our group arrived in 2 waves but they were very patient while we all arrived.
6 cream teas were duly ordered, 3 regular and 3 gluten free, each accompanied by lashings of jam, cream and piping hot tea!!
Now, the staff.......We were greeted and welcomed very warmly by a couple of young ladies, our order was taken and duly arrived, nothing seemed too much trouble, the whole thing was a joy from start to finish, and very reasonably priced to boot!! We will be going back, that's for sure, places like this are so very hard to find, and this one is a complete gem!! Many thanks to all the staff, we adore what you do, keep it up!!

West street, SomertonA terrific little gem in a village and the new manager is delightful. Made us feel very welcome and considering he is from out of town he fits well An up and coming little pub with so much potential and a owner who has the optimism to do it !! can’t wait !!!

Market Pl, SomertonPopped in for a quick spot of lunch while out and about. The bar food is great, we had a sharing board and a couple of sides it was more than enough for the two of us. Great service and friendly staff. Recommended.

The Triangle, SomertonA fantastic Valentine lunch! Beautiful fish and the lightest, crispiest batter we have ever tasted, plus a very generous portion of lovely chips. Freshly cooked and served within minutes by a cheery, helpful couple, Sorry no picture, we were much too anxious to enjoy it while it was still piping hot. We can thoroughly recommend them.

13 Brunel Cl, SomertonWe had a beautiful authentic Indian/Bangladeshi meal on Monday night. Great that you can take your own bottle of wine, too. But soft drinks are on sale, also.The food was delicious and our server helped us decided on some tasty and memorable dishes. The flavours were spicy without being over-powering, and it was all beautiful presented and served respectfully. The prawns in the Tiger by the River dish were massive and very tender. A feast for the eyes, as well as the belly, was the tender and exotic Slay the Dragon chicken dish, so colourful and different from anything I have tried before. Beautuful light-as-air nan breads, and huge poppadoms! There was so much rice in the biriani, we took our host's advice and did not need to order more. The restaurant, although steady with takeaway orders, was calm and very clean, with lovely linen table cloths. Nice touch with the hot towels and chocolate at the end. And the bonus takeaway boxes! We'll be back for sure.

Chicken And Pizza Land
Unit 5, West St, SomertonDiscovered this take away this week, ordered my first takeaway with them at the beginning of the week, and it was so nice, I really fancied another, so ordered one tonight, same order as before but I fancied adding something new to the order previous with a pizza to try. Unfortunately there was some confusion on my end with the pizza, online it seemed their Doner meat pizza only come with doner meat and cheese, nothing else which is perfect for me as I hate onions etc, but when it arrived, had onions all over it. I was gutted as it was a 15” pizza and cost £13.90 so I wasent sure what to do. I rang them up to explain the situation not expecting an outcome, but they offered to make me a new one and sent it to me free of charge, and I live in Ilchester so that was extra kind of them. They were so kind and understanding and it was great customer service. I would 100000000% recommend these to anyone, great food, great service. Thank you guys so much, you have a loyal customer in me now.

West St, SomertonI been going to this Chinese restaurant for over 10 years and they have always been exceptional with their food, I understand it's been taken over recently and glad to report the food is still top notch plus the prices have come down from the last time I went under the old owner.
