Pebbles Tavern
24 Market St, WatchetWe was staying up the road and came in to Watchet town centre / harbour, popped into this little gem on a pub. Its only small bit has heaps of character and all sorts of historic things dotted about. I had a Guinness and it was beautiful they found a seat for me and the family when we entered. The atmosphere was great and the decor is very quirky if your in that area defiantly worth popping in for one.

Hellikers Cafe
2 Market St, WatchetWhat a great cafe. A wonderful full breakfast that was faultless, was washed down with a generous pot of tea. The staff including head Chef were really friendly too. Excellent value for money, would highly recommend. Also, it's within a minute or so of Market St carpark, so couldn't be better.

The Marina Cafe (and Curiosity Shop)
10 The Esplanade, WatchetOn a lovely sunny morning at the beginning of July we were strolling around this delightful little village and felt like a cuppa. We stopped off outside this place and we pulled together some chairs and a small table under the shade of a tree on the promenade. I went inside to order our flat white and latte coffees. Eventually a polite young man came out with our order in disposable mugs. We then proceeded to soak in the the quiet atmosphere of his delightful place. And do some serious people watching. All good.

The Cat’s Whisker
old Anchor Public House, 6a Anchor St, Blue Anchor, WatchetWonderful evening, me and my partner decided to treat ourselves to a nice date night on holiday. Food was lovely we had 3 tapas and then the seafood sharer along with the trilogy pudding sharer all of it was very well cooked and we enjoyed all of it and left very full, £87 for 4 drinks, 3 tapas, a large sharer and 3 deserts is very very reasonable! The lady was friendly and kind, never felt rushed. Only negative is my partner found a hair in the mushrooms however this isn't a big deal as we know it happens at times. Nicely decorated and very peaceful atmosphere. Will return when in the area :)

The White House Hotel and Restaurant (book direct for best prices)
11 Long St, Williton, TauntonMy fiancé and I stayed here whilst visiting family in Williton this weekend. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We had a full English breakfast which was cooked to perfection and delicious. On the whole we had a 10 out of 10 experience and would definitely be back to stay.

The Bell Inn
3 Market St, WatchetA lovely traditional pub. Booked ahead & were told the 2 of us could be 'fitted in' but most tables empty while we were there. Good service from young barmaid but landlord didn't acknowledge our arrival even with a look. Sunday roast was huge & hot & delicious, great choice of veg & biggest Yorkshire pud I've ever seen. Spoiled only by the copious gravy being beef flavour for both of us, would have been nicer to have had matching chicken gravy with mine. Very good value, and we came home with a generous doggy bag.

The Spice Merchant.
14 Market St, WatchetWe visited the beach, and afterwards we found this restaurant. Initially, we came just for some snacks, but after seeing the menu we decided to have a full dinner. The food was truly authentic, with perfect spice levels — pure Indian taste! Every curry, roti, and main course was delicious. After a long time, I felt like I was having home-cooked food, even though we were far from the city. The hospitality was outstanding, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dal. Very thankful to the team!

East Quay Kitchen
Harbour Rd, WatchetQuite a surprise to find this. As others have said the menus change over time but always interesting. The food is cooked to order and is excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The background music was worth the visit on its own. If you're hunkering down out of the weather there are books, board games, good coffee and it's child friendly.

The London Inn
23 Market St, WatchetNice food we had home made steak a Guinness pie, home made smothered chick bbq and cheese and mixed grill which I have to say out of the many mixed grills I’ve had this has to be up there the meat was not tough and chewy which I find with many mixed grills I’ve had in the past at other places the sausages were really nice
Over all a nice meal and a good price for a family of three.

Pizza Time
6 Swain St, WatchetSo let's be clear, the food was totally lovely and can't be faulted and I could munch that stuff all night. However, I had to wait on the bench 90 minutes for it while others came and went, locals prioritised, so plan your food carefully. If you leave it too late you will expire from hunger before you get your grub.
