Called in recently about 2pm for a quick light lunch. Service was quick. The offer for soup, a hot roll and a drink was excellent. The Chicken broth was hot and very tasty. Being a Waitrose card customer, we were entitled to 20% off the cake of the day which was fresh and delicious.
I spent 5 days in Wells, Glastonbury recently and ended up eating brekky at Morrisons cafe, where I became addicted to the poached egg on smashed avocado on toast!What made the brekky even more amazing was being served by and watching Karli! You could see that she really cares about the clients, and vice versa. Nothing was too much trouble. And her smile and efficiency lit up the cafe area like a torch. Reasonably value for money. Decent enough food for a supermarket. However, nearly every other table was filled with empty plates etc. Staff friendly but obviously more needed to keep the restaurant area clean.
