Dipton, MountsettMy wife and I went here for the first time after hearing good things. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. Brooke and Helen were lovely and attentive. The price was more than reasonable. We will definitely be back soon

The Olive Stone
18 Front St, Tantobie, StanleyI live in Stanley and just fancied a really good pizza for lunch. The Olive Stone came up on google maps with great reviews and is only a few minutes drive out of Stanley centre. Lovely little place I will definitely visit again. My Pepperoni pizza was excellent with great pizza base, lovely tomato sauce and very tasty cheese and pepperoni.

The Burrow Licensed Tearoom
The Burrow Licensed Tearoom, North Road, DiptonA must to visit. The Burrow is cozy and has a light and airy atmosphere inside. On street parking available. There is home cooked food, cakes and bakes. The coffee is one of my favourite in the local area! Alcohol is also served plus this is a great place for baby showers and small events. Laura hosted a wake for me, the spread was amazing and everyone commented how lovely it was as a venue.

Pack Horse
Crookgate, BurnopfieldHad a meal at Pack Horse several times and keep coming back for more. Food always cooked to perfection and tastes delicious, great choice of dessert as well. I enjoy the lovely, friendly atmosphere at the pub and staff always thoughtful and professional.

North Rd, Catchgate, Annfield Plain, StanleyA decent sized local pub with a lot of lively and entertaining regulars. The staff are lovely and the pub hosts live singers on the weekends. All around nice place to stop and have a drink or to celebrate the weekend.

Hobsons Buildings 1 North Road, StanleyGiving it 5 stars well worth more, we got the munchy box tonight. What a belter nicest ive had in a long time. Asked for a couple of changes to our meal and they managed it perfectly wor lass is over the moon with the gravy best around
