Grange Rd W, JarrowVisit the Ben Lomond Wednesday and was greeted by Hayley who was lovely and offered me old speckle hen when I ask her what ale was on she was very knowledgeable. It was a very enjoyable and I was made to feel very welcome will definitely visit again.

Calf Cl Ln, JarrowMe and the family come here a lot for food and drinks the staff are lovely and super friendly especially lynice she goes above and beyond for us I recommend this pub I wouldn’t go anywhere else

28a Western Rd, Jarrow1st time last night. Was the best indian food ive had in a long time, if not, ever. Started off with the large mixed starter. 2 king prawns, 2 lamb chops, 2 sheesh kebab and lamb tika. All cooked to perfection. Beef vindaloo with coconut pilau, fiery and so flavoursome. Fresh fluffy naan bread. Seriously good food and a good selection of drinks. Very friendly staff. The vindaloo sauce was the tastiest ive ever had. Real depth of flavour (quite often its just plain curry with a load of chilli powder) The beef was so tender. This was 10/10. I was in a table of 7 and we all agreed on the quality. Ive been to every indian restaurant on ocean road and this is a contender for the best out of the lot. Quite slow service (could do with another waiter) but really glad we came. A+

The Viking Tandoori
2 Grange Rd W, JarrowOrdered 4 x Banquet deals tonight for a family gathering. Messaged The Viking on here to see if I could place the order before 5.30, so they had it ready to start ASAP. They got back to me straight away, took the order and had it ready for the time stated. the Viking Banquet is an amazing deal and the food was amazing. everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks got the great customer service.

17 Bede Precinct, JarrowOrdered through just eat. Slight blip with order which was no ones fault . Received a phone call explaining situation and apologising for delay . When food was delivered, there was an extra box of treats with note to thank me for understanding. Which was a lovely touch . Excellent customer service, plus food was as good as always .

York Ave, JarrowAlways a good selection of food and drink available at fairly easy prices well within most people's budget. There are also plenty of free parking places which are okay for disabled people to park in as well as a good selection of other shops and businesses to satisfy most people's shopping desires.
