Llanfihangel Tal-y-llyn, BreconI’ve eaten here multiple times, both dining in and takeaways. I’ve never had any problems with the food, everything is always cooked freshly and to order and within a reasonable time. Staff are always very friendly and attentive. Also a lovely place to just have a drink.

23 High St, BreconOrdered food for 12 people on line. We were staying by Sennybridge. On line order process was so simple. Paid using card online. We were travelling and picking up on route. Easy to state time for pickup. Food was expertly wrapped and everyone enjoyed the food.

Bishops Meadow, Hay Rd, BreconAte here last Thursday for my son’s Birthday. Absolutely delicious burgers but can also recommend the falafel kebab. Staff were friendly. And a lovely atmosphere to have a meal. Would recommend booking. Particularly on the weekend.

Mexican oval bite was delicious and better than what you get in England but the reason for the 1 star loss is for me personally the custard slices are not very good. Icing very bitty and not a lot of vanilla flavour from the custard and they seem to be smaller thinner than a mobile phone!

Libanus, BreconSuper friendly family run pub. Parking abit tight. But other than that ....great staff.... atmosphere....great food.....had a chuckle because the WiFi was up and like the proverbial....but they managed very well and professionally through it all to take payments. Cheers stuart.

Bell St, Talgarth, BreconWe had a long day hiking in the Brecon Beacons and motivated ourselves with thoughts of our first pint afterwards. The Bridge Inn was exactly what we were hoping for. Good pints, Great music. Friendly staff. A great memory for my wife and myself.

The Pwllgloyw Arms
Pwllgloyw, BreconFive of us took our two labs with us for Sunday lunch and the food was excellent. We were offered seating as soon as we arrived and had a great spot in the lounge for the five of us with our two large dogs. The service was prompt and very friendly. We all thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday roast meals. It was all hot and served with plenty of vegetables and we also had cauliflower cheese. The desserts were also very enjoyable and we well presented.
We would definitely return.

4-5 Rich Way, BreconWe popped in today on recommendation from someone as we have just moved to the area, and just wow! The best fry up I’ve ever had at an amazing price, staff and locals friendly and welcoming, with one lady cooking for a full cafe we still received our food in great time! Hats off to her, honestly couldn’t fault the food and didn’t see her stop the whole time we were there, the two girls who worked there too were lovely, we will definitely make this our regular spot for breakfast :)

7 Castle St, BreconAccording to all the reviews Sunnys came out tops in Brecon. The lady running our touring caravan park recommended Sunnys.
We were not disappointed. Food was all freshly cooked whilst I waited. Its location is not car friendly! I parked outside on double yellow lines. Everything we had was well presented , piping hot and very tasty. As Chinese takeaways go this ranks in my top five around the U.K..

7 Lion St, BreconA lovely little place, we ordered latte, tea (a good amount in the teapot!) and the biggest teacake that I’ve have ever seen - which was delicious! The staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, didn’t get the name of the girl who served us but she was so helpful in swapping my mum’s latte over into a takeaway cup due to her struggling with the size of cup (due to my mum’s illness!). She was very friendly and approachable. I found that the staff were also very quick in cleaning and maintaining the tables after customers. The atmosphere was very chilled and friendly - so pleased we stopped for a quick cuppa out of the rain! Good job, guys ❤️?

Coffee Bar, 4 Castle St, BreconNoticed this off the high street and we wanted a quick start to the day - bacon sandwich and coffee - but didn't fancy one of the high street coffee chains. Very impressed - this would certainly be a regular stop for us if we were local, and if we return to Brecon we would certainly call in. Staff very efficient and pleasant, really nice environment, clean and well set out. Our coffee and sandwiches were delivered very promptly to the table, the sandwiches were really good, quality ingredients and well prepared. Coffee was also really good. Plenty of selection with regard to cakes etc. and only sorry I could not justify a cake to top off my breakfast!!! Very good value for money. Overall really impressed, a great find.

Brecon tandoori -Indian Restaurant.
Watergate, BreconThis was a hobson choice decision out of a lack of availability for the restaurants we had planned to go to. But we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was freshly cooked and full of flavour. The nan bread was also made fresh nan of the reheated frozen nan that has become a common labour saving strategy here.
We liked it so much we went again while we were visiting the Hay Festival.
My only complaint is that it is hiding in plain sight. It would have been a pub before, and nothing much has changed to its look externally, and the name sign is on the corner angle and poorly positioned. So we walked past it and were very dubious if we had found the right place. Good signage would increase their business tremendously, so preserve, and you will not be disappointed

The Lodge, Llanfrynach, BreconWe have visited the Lodge for five days during our New Year's Eve vacation.
It was really enjoyable stay as our hosts have created a cosy, homely atmosphere.
We have also received valuable tips about walking routes from Bronwyn and Steve.
Breakfasts were delicious, for every taste.
Great location, it's right in the middle of park, and accessible to everything you'd like to see.
The drying and bicycle room is a very nice additon.
We would definitely recommend this fantastic place to visit.
