Beaufort St, CrickhowellA lovely little cafe in Crickhowell. I had a tasty salmon and cream cheese sandwich, and a delicious latte (really lived up to the cafe's name!). Paid parking is available across the street behind the visitor information centre.

Llangenny, CrickhowellQuaint Welsh Country Pub full of nostalgia in an age old style, I hope it never changes. Excellent food but a limited menu that is served to traditional recipes that are appreciated by the local community. Well worth a visit plenty of parking but along narrow lanes!

Cafe at Book-ish
Silver Ln, High St, CrickhowellGreat place, lovely to hang, drink coffee and read. I had the calzone which was yummy but left with a bitter taste in my mouth coming away after paying £15 for it!! Thought it would be bigger, or with chips or salad at least, that's why they lost a star.

Sandwiches, cakes, jackets, breakfasts etc. We had egg mayo and bacon sandwiches which is quite an unusual combo and it was excellent. Very relaxing atmosphere and comfy seating with about 8 tables inside and a few more outside (next to the road). Very quiet and they had signs up saying it was a laptop free café!

The Swan Inn
10 Llanbedr Road, CrickhowellI was camping with my kids for a few days & my kids love pool. This is the only pub in Crickhowell with a pool table. Anyway we made friends with the landlord who was super cool & really nice with the kids. My kids also made friends with some locals playing pool. Everyone was really friendly & lovely. We’ll be back!

Stayed at Cwmdu campsite, walked the surrounding mountains got back in time to shower and take the short walk to the pub.
Yummy and filling burger just what we needed.

The Vine Tree Llangattock
Legar Road, Llangattock, CrickhowellSuperb tasting menu by a talented chef. There was a bit of Japanese theme to the menu which also showcased local produce. Every dish was interesting and delicious. We also had the fabulous wine flight which included champagne, white, red, orange and dessert wine as well as sake! The staff were very friendly and we also liked the relaxed atmosphere which you sometimes don't get with fine dining. Definitely recommend.

4 Standard St, CrickhowellGreat takeaway for Crickhowell and surrounding areas! The pizza is outstanding and I couldn’t rate it better! I can’t get the dough out of my head? The chips were fantastic too and so fresh. Staff are amazing and so friendly especially Rooney, the new owner. Can’t wait to be back for more!! Highly
