Market Hall, High Street, CrickhowellWhat a lovely cafe. We visited on a journey from mid wales to Somerset and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The staff were welcoming, atmosphere great and the food was delicious! The best jacket potato I’ve eaten for a while!!! Thank you.

Hillside Rd, Llangattock, CrickhowellReally nice friendly var lady ... pub is really quirky and old fashioned which was kinda lovely. Food came out hot and pretty quick good size too. More veg would be nice but no complaints from me. Would definitely go back to try the Jamaican menu

Cafe at Book-ish
Silver Ln, High St, CrickhowellGreat place, lovely to hang, drink coffee and read. I had the calzone which was yummy but left with a bitter taste in my mouth coming away after paying £15 for it!! Thought it would be bigger, or with chips or salad at least, that's why they lost a star.

Llangenny, CrickhowellQuaint Welsh Country Pub full of nostalgia in an age old style, I hope it never changes. Excellent food but a limited menu that is served to traditional recipes that are appreciated by the local community. Well worth a visit plenty of parking but along narrow lanes!

Farmers Arms

It was Sunday and we had the roast dinner, 1 of our party is a veggie and had the nut roast.
All of the food was really good and the beef in particular was excellent. We have been fortunate enough to eat in some very expensive places over the years and we all said the beef excelled and showed many of those far more expensive locations how it should be done!
This is a great authentic local pub with brilliant food. Enjoy.

Sandwiches, cakes, jackets, breakfasts etc. We had egg mayo and bacon sandwiches which is quite an unusual combo and it was excellent. Very relaxing atmosphere and comfy seating with about 8 tables inside and a few more outside (next to the road). Very quiet and they had signs up saying it was a laptop free café!

The Swan Inn
10 Llanbedr Road, CrickhowellI was camping with my kids for a few days & my kids love pool. This is the only pub in Crickhowell with a pool table. Anyway we made friends with the landlord who was super cool & really nice with the kids. My kids also made friends with some locals playing pool. Everyone was really friendly & lovely. We’ll be back!

Red Indigo
Brecon Rd, CrickhowellOn friday 4 of us visited Red Indigo for the first time. The service from the start was excellent. Drinks and poppadoms were brought to our table within 5 mins of being seated. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. The restaurant is modern and fresh and extremely clean. All the staff were polite and welcoming. Our overall cost was low and we had a 3 course with drinks each. We will be visiting more regularly as it is outstanding.

The chips were fantastic too and so fresh. Staff are amazing and so friendly especially Rooney, the new owner. Can’t wait to be back for more!! Highly
