The menu has enough variety to satisfy whatever we are craving without being too cluttered to choose something. \n\nLast night was pizza night, we ordered a butter chicken pizza, a meat feast pizza and a plain margarita for the kids as well as various sides. \n\nThe pizza's as always were bursting with flavour. The hand made bases give them character, the toppings were fresh and plenty of cheese without making the pizza greasy like you get elsewhere. \n\nWe absolutely adore Fabians food and the way they treat us like family instead of customers

Herb Garden
5, Spa Centre, Station Cres, Llandrindod WellsStopped in at Llandrindod Wells for lunch whilst on our way to Porthmadog in Wales. The Herb Cage is down a little laneway and popular with locals. We enjoyed a full English breakfast served all day and our daughter had a jacket potato. Lovely, lovely, lovely! Make the effort to stop in. \nFYI - neuroses toilet that is very clean and has a baby change table and a dual toilet that caters for the disabled.

Arvon Ale House
Arvon Ale House, Temple St, Llandrindod Wellsovernight stop in Llandrindod Wells en-route to the ferry in Fishguard to get the ferry to Ireland, popped into Avron Ales and greeted by a bit of banter from Christine behind the bar, and had a lovely chat with some of the locals. a really welcoming atmosphere, and enjoyed a drink Borderland Beast, (which gave me a warm and cuddly feeling). well worth a visit if your in the area.

Lakeside Cafe and Catering
Lakeside Cafe, Princes Ave, Llandrindod WellsStandard, if not entirely boring fare.
Wonderful views of the lake.
Need to drive all the way round the lake to get to the parking area.
The lake is full of dead fish, and smells very unpleasant. Apparently blue weed (?) engulfed the lake and killed the fish. Authorities were too late to stop the carnage. A couple of pumps are being used presumably to oxygenate the lake but it's shocking to see big fish sticking their mouths out of the water and suffering.
Too many wasps to sit outside. Many inside, too.
This cafe has the potential to be really amazing given its position over the lake .

Severn Arms Hotel
Penybont, Llandrindod Wellswe didn't stay but a group of us ate food here, recommend the homemade curry! it was delicious! all of us were served at the same time, great team, smiling faces, nothing was too much effort! all of us will be going back over summer, the children were welcomed and had a great time exploring the grounds! Lovely place, definitely go visit this place, it was brilliant!

The Fish Bar
Weston House, High St, Llandrindod WellsStaying locally on early May bank holiday and struggled to find a pub accepting food orders around 7pm. Popped into here and ordered two chicken kebabs and my wife had the homemade chicken curry jacket potato.\nThe kebabs were brilliantly made, two different types of flavour of chicken and the salad was of a great variety and fresh. My wife’s jacket potato was also great, with the chicken being brilliantly tender in a reasonable base sauce.

Fforest Fields, Mid Wales Caravan & Camping Site | Holiday Cottages | Glamping
Fforest Fields, Hundred House, Llandrindod WellsI booked for 3 days and ended up staying for almost a week. There are fantastic long walks direct from the site which my dog and I enjoyed. Apart from one of the owners and his dogs, we didn’t see anyone out on the hills. The views were stunning. I also liked the paths around the site which were ideal for short dog walks before breakfast and bed - always good to be able to pop out for a quick walk and not need to wash muddy paws in February! The facilities are clean and well designed and the owners are helpful and friendly. Looking forward to returning soon.

The Quality Fish Bar
Bickley House, Waterloo Rd, Llandrindod WellsFriendly, polite staff. £7.55 for medium chips and mini cod. Chips were paler than I like but acceptable. Fish was more cooked than I like, a little chewy, but also acceptable. I stopped here because I was half way through a 4 hour car journey on a Sunday evening and wanted somewhere that I could get food quickly. Would call here again.

Newbridge on Wye, Llandrindod WellsHidden Gem. Needed a halfway stop between Walsall and Tenby. Great little pub. Affordable food. Standard pub grub. Really nice staff. Will be our midway rest on the way back too.

I also indulged in their spa service on a relaxing Sunday afternoon, and it was an absolute delight. The session was thoughtfully designed and deeply therapeutic, thanks to the skilled professionalism of Elisha, who attended to me with great care. Overall, my Mysore trip became truly memorable because of this wonderful stay.

Super Dinner Takeaway
2 Park Cres, Llandrindod WellsHad a takeaway here last night, a jalfrezi and a chicken tikka masala and they were lovely! The man we spoke to was lovely and you could tell he really tried to make it a great experience for us! We will definitely be coming back - we didn't get him name but he was great!
