33-34 Windsor Terrace, PenarthWonderful afternoon celebrating my brother in law’s birthday. We were lucky enough to have the restaurant to ourselves, before they opened up for the evening. .
Nothing was too much trouble for the guys looking after us.
We were able to arrive early to set the tables up and decorate.
The adults had the set taster menu, which was delicious. The kids were able to order from the main menu. So everyone’s tastes were catered for.

4 Cog Rd, Sully, PenarthThis Sunday lunch came highly recommended by two dear friends of mine. It certainly came up trumps when a party of five of us dined there today. At only an hours notice did Nathan kindly accommodate us a table at the front of the restaurant. The decor is contemporary modern and the ambiance was perfect for a family occasion.
The servers were excellent and far exceeded expectations and coped well under pressure. They were professional, courteous, attentive and engaging. They certainty do The Vale Of Glamorgan very proud. My two cousins and their partners were impressed and they don’t impress easily.
Complimentary sour dough bread, butter and iced lemon water was brought to the table. Adequate time was given before our orders were taken. Only one starter was ordered whilst four of us opted for desert. The starter was ham hock terrine and salad which was divine. An assortment of soft drinks, lagers and cider was enjoyed whilst waiting for the main meals.
My cousin and I chose the pork belly with crackling. Other family members enjoyed a slow braised brisket of beef, a roasted Glamorganshire sirloin roast dinner and finally a cod fillets with Mediterranean vegetables and new potatoes dish. All meals were flawless. Excellent Yorkshire puddings, seasoned meals and delicious gravy. All portions were heartily and plates were cleared!
Deserts were sticky toffee pudding with ice cream, a bakewell tart and two lemon cheesecakes. All were exceptional and staff checked in on us regularly. Nathan and the team really looked after us and we cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. We tipped generously to show our gratitude. A well deserved five stars. ?

I gave it five stars because it’s the perfect temperature to scoff it down without burning your mouth yet at the same time, you can casually eat it at a regular pace. I ordered the big veggie Breakfast meal And a dirty Chai latte. I had no idea what they were and the staff were extremely friendly in informing me. Both of the items I ordered were absolutely delicious and they arrived fairly fast. The atmosphere was good stuff. The music in the background was a nice touch. There’s a bunch of paintings on the wall perhaps too many which looks a little haunting however if you can get past that then you’ll have a great time. I will definitely come back and recommend it!

14 Windsor Rd, PenarthBeen going to the Bar 44 group for many years introduced by my Brother who has worked at all of their establishments. Food.... best Tapas outside of Spain. Drink... great wine and sherry selection and if you like a beer can recommend Estrella Galcia on draught!! Service.... As always friendly welcome, attentive throughout service. In short if you are double thinking going to this 44 or others don't. They do not disappoint.

Parking: Evening parking is easy and near to the restaurant we haven't visited in the day.
The restaurant is just off the town centre so it shouldn't be a problem.

When we thought of going there we planned to get a brownie to share for the four of us, but we went up to the till we asked for what we wanted it and if we could split the payment. They weren’t able to share the payment the worker told us we could have it for free and we were so happy but a few minutes later a lovely waiter came over and give us two others brownies for free!!!!! Everyone coffi #1 are the nicest people/workers and go there now.

14 Glebe St, PenarthVery fortunate to have this amazing Chinese on our doorstep! Excellent service, very reasonably priced and food was beyond delicious!
We had crispy beef, duck, spare ribs, egg fried rice, chips and prawn toast and everything was perfect.
The chips rival most of the actual fish and chips shops in Penarth and all the gorgeous Chinese food is flavourful, succulent and the portions are big!
Nothing was greasy which is always a win too.
Can't recommend enough!

Ego at The Schooner, Lavernock Rd, Lavernock, PenarthMe and my partner ate here at 19:30 on table 14 on new years day . This is our favorite restaurants.
But this time Liesi made it even better. What a wonderful lady she is. She is the definition of 5 star service. She checked in on us enough time that it didn't feel like we where bothering her. She made jokes and smiled. Her interact felt natural and like speaking to a friend. As someone who is a manager in a restaurant, Liesi is someone I would be unbelievable proud to have on my team and Ego should be too.

Terra Nova Way, PenarthFirst time visiting this venue for a family meal, prompt warm welcome on arrival, advised of the ordering process once sat. Friendly, prompt service from the bar staff even though it was very busy. On ordering food, advised of slight delay and dishes not available, food arrived within time advised, quickly and hot. The waiter was friendly, efficient and helpful. A really enjoyable evening and will return.

Penarth Rd, Llandough, PenarthThe food was incredible, some of the best I’ve eaten locally!! As a coeliac, there was plenty of food options and I didn’t feel left out at all. I often can’t eat certain foods as there’s rarely a GF option but that wasn’t the case here at all, even their chicken tenders are gluten free ? The staff cannot do enough for you and the owner is lovely. We had the most wonderful evening there, the atmosphere is fantastic. 10/10 would recommend!!!

I called in on the last Sunday of the month and was treated to a free buffet, and a live duo. What a great evening I had!
Recommend this pub. A bus stops right outside with connection to Barry and Cardiff.

4 Pill St, PenarthMy partner and I often treat ourselves to Sping Garden. We'd eat less chinese food if it wasn't so good. It's a guilty pleasure that we definitely do too often, but have zero regrets.
It's got a great selection (though we definitely have our favourites that we tend to get... I'm pretty sure we could just order "the usual" at this point).
I highly recommend the salt and chilli chips if you fancy a break from the normal chip shop affair. In fact, the salt and chilli anything is a good bet, but you won't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Order here if you are local. It rarely takes more than 15 minutes to get dinner sorted. Quicker than cooking at home for sure. Frankly, it would be worth crossing town for too.

The portobello mushroom starter and the bruschetta starter were both very tasty. My lasagne was great and my husband’s pizza was good, he ended the meal with a sticky toffee pudding and ice cream.\n\nReally enjoyed the meal. The food was quite expensive but would definitely eat here again. The service was good and the staff were lovely.

They tweaked my meal to include potatoes rather than pasta which was great. On this occasion there was a little too much sauce on the Seabass for me and wasn't as tasty as I would expect. I have eaten quite a few times and generally all very good.

It was a birthday treat from my wife and it was one of the best treats I have had in a very long time, primarily because La Marina is the best restaurant we have been to in Cardiff, by far. Firstly, we would like to thank Janka, Mrunal (Moon), Stan and everyone else who helped us make this day a truly memorable one. They are really sweet, friendly and welcoming and the service provided by them was first class. Secondly, the food we ordered was totally worth the price. Every dish was amazing, rich in taste and the freshness of it all was just too good. The ambiance is pleasant, the decorations are beautiful and the location is breathtaking. Great sea food, great veg selections and a variety of meats to choose from. The restaurant is highly recommended, located in one of the most beautiful parts of Cardiff.

PenarthI made an account just to leave this review because i feel like i need to. this is the second time i've come here and the icecreams are incredible. I was served again today by lawrence. It's hard to find a warmer welcome and a more genuine interest in customer satisfaction. The 3 scoop waffle cone was to die for, lots of delicious flavours to choose from! The Pilot
67 Queen's Rd, PenarthAfter change of ownership in 2023, this place is really sensational! Fabulous, extensive wine list, varied menu, and the best Sunday roast bar none. I've eaten in (teh two or three course Sunday roast is great value, and I am always SO grateful for lots of gravy!). Yesterday, I had the takeaway roast that is also incredibly good value and I got two meals out of it. The staff are fabulous - really friendly and SO polite and welcoming to everyone who comes through the door - and always thanking customers on the way out. So happy I live just three minutes' walk away! Thanks so much to Francois and Serge and all the bar staff - also, I might add, the cleaners! The place is spotless and has the feel of a lovely living room.

The Former Golf Kiosk, Cliff Parade, PenarthVisited here today by chance after being treated very poorly by the shop next door (no relation to willmores) I can honestly say we will definitely visit here again!
