We visited on a wet and wild week night in February, without booking. They were very welcoming and we went straight in. The food was *very* well made, and beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Breaktimes

Absolutely overwhelmed with this cafe . Totally unnexpected but across the board was really happy. Super clean . Staff really friendly and accomodating . Quick service and cooking . Super affordable . Even the napkins and condiments were of high standard. Repeat customer was made today . Highly reccomend for anyone hungry and hard to please ! You wont regret !

The Colliers Arms Porth

Absolutely love the colliers. Linda the landlady is a diamond. Drinks are cheap and atmosphere is fab. Slush machine wasn't working this week for cocktails but had shots to compensate lol. Gonna try Sunday lunch soon because I've heard good things.

Cymmer Fish Bar

I place an order when I visit my sister and we have no complaints. We have fish and chips but there is usually a meal included for one other. I can't fault the cost going by other fish bars, they're friendly over the phone and whilst delivering our order. We personally couldn't ask for anything

Fabulous Chinese best about I don’t order from anywhere else, noodles are delicious their chicken satay skewers are so nice everything is so fresh 100% recommend

Ordered from the chefs recommendations. Ordered a dish I fancied from reading the write ups on the menu. Love that it gives you a brief description of what the curry is. Food was hot and so so tasty. Thank you will be back to try something different again.

Tafarn Pencei

Wow what a place. Staff warm welcoming and accommodating to ourselves the atmosphere was very very vibrant both in the bar and in the restaurant part. The food was absolutely amazing the smash burger was unreal smothered in cheese bacon that pretzel bun elevated it and the chips where fresh and hot unlike another establishment around the corner. The poe of the day lamb and leek pie was absolutely stunning made by the local butchers massive slab creamy mash and fresh veg amazing quality and generous portion sizes at a low cost. Fresh ingredients fresh food cooked heart food. Crumble was amazing too again generous portion size. Will definitely come back if passing through this way thank you again

Yr Hen Fecws Restaurant and B&B

Dined here twice whilst in the area for a week. Had the welsh fillet on 1st visit and duck breast the 2nd time. Both meals were excellent and were well worth the price. Would definitely recommend

The Hippy Chippy

Visiting a friend in the area and called in for battered jumbo sausage, chips and fruity curry and I must say it was delicious the best I had in a long time the staff was very polite and friendly thanks guys definitely will be back when I'm in the area again top notch

Good Mood restaurant

Found this smashing place when out for a cycle ride. Had a lovely lunch from the lite bite selection. Service was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. Tucked away could be missed but well worth a visit.

Caffi Siop Fawr

We really enjoyed our food, attentive service and the lovely calm atmosphere. The disabled toilet is immaculately clean, and well equipped for an easy visit. We really appreciated the accessibility, even the space around the table enabled easy movement with a wheelchair. Fantastic.

Kam He

Been going to Kam He for years as I lived in the area. Wouldn't dare to try another Chinese. Moved out the area now to Pontypridd and I still travel up to have a KamHe Chinese. Its absolutely stunning and a good value for money

Red Lion

Very friendly woman behind the bar, helped us with our doggy pushchair. We chose the Red lion because it was dog friendly and they have a lovely beer garden in the rear of the pub.

The Bakehouse

I'm not one for leaving reviews normally, but I feel in this case, credit needs to be given where it is definitely due. This local bakery has a varied choice of fresh bread and cakes. The staff are friendly and very accommodating- they provided some super mini scones for a cream tea for me a couple of months ago, so I've just ordered more for my next event. Thanks for keeping a proper bakery alive, and even better that it's in my village!

Rising Star

Ordered a delivery from here this evening after comparing the price to our usual Chinese. The delivery was quick and on time. It offered good portions for a great price and a great taste. The egg fried rice was great and all of the chicken dishes were lovely.The only negative was the chips, wish they were homemade.

Always avoided to eats here because of low hygiene rating but hygiene the rating has changed 4.So I had a special chow mein with a pancake roll,the chow mein was lovely but the pancake roll was a bit too greasy for my liking. But friendly staff when phone up and when you finished your order they repeat it to make sure they got everything right

Lovely local pub. Very welcoming staff, and friendly chatty customers. Drinks and food are very good value for money. Would definitely recommend ... especially if you like trains.

Portmeirion Cafe

There is nowhere else in the UK, or possibly on Earth, like Portmeirion! One man’s vision has been brilliantly realised and beautifully maintained. A visit here is a feast for the eyes and an architectural delight. The staff are lovely and the food is delicious, I highly recommend the gelato. If you are in Wales a visit to Portmeirion is well worth the trip, as an added bonus the drive there is through the stunning Welsh countryside.
