Truth be told. I had high hopes, with the price of £17 for 2 meals and 2 drinks, I was quite optimistic. Me mother had the jacket potato with cheese and beans which she said was very nice and very worth the price. I however had the nachos with Cheese, Sour cream, guacamole and Salsa which was very disappointing. The nachos were quite obviously very cheap and from a catering company, the nacho cheese was disappointing and the sour cream was a strange taste. As someone who is a massive fan of Mexican food this disappointed me as for £7 I expected it to be better than cheap nachos. The staff were very lovely and took there time with my fraile mother, nothing bad to say about the staff. They were top star.

Chopstix - Merry Hill

Eva is outstanding and consistently greets everyone with a smile. As a delivery driver, I appreciate going to Chopstix for collections because the orders are always prepared promptly, eliminating the need to wait and saving valuable time.

First class takeaway pizza, superb cheesy garlic bread and tasty chips Unbelievable value and lovely service Would thoroughly recommend to anyone in the areas ...knocks pizza hut, Domino's etc out of the park

The Round Oak Stonehouse

I visited here weekly the food is lovely and reasonably priced. Most of the time Allen is there serving us and he's very polite and nothing is too much to ask he's brilliant but I must admit sometimes it seems understaffed so the staff seemed rushed off their feet.

Il Michelangelo Brockmoor

Nestled in the heart of Brierley Hill, this restaurant is now our go to Italian. The ambiance is intimate yet there is still a buzz, and an inviting charm that makes guests feel instantly at home. Every dish is a testament to what we imagine is authentic family cooked food which was exceptional.

The attention to detail is very refreshing, with something on the menu and specials for everyone, alongside a thoughtfully created wine list.

Wonderfully attentive staff too, which makes this a must visit if you love italian food.

Our only suggestion would be some traditional background music.

First time here tonight for Fathers Day, and wow what a fabulous meal , the staff were so lovely and our server was amazing , couldn’t have done more for us ! Genuinely one of the best meals I have ever had and the cocktails were 10.10 !! Thankyou so much we will definitely be back ❤️

Food was 10/10! fantastic value. We had chicken madras that was unreal if you can handle the heat also a rogan Josh that was spot on. The chops, rice and garlic naan was all 10/10.

This place never misses, I’ve been to a few branches now and it’s never disappointed, the food is so addictive. Service from Hassan was brilliant, food come out within a few minutes, was fresh and tasty.

Great starters and curries but the chips am rubbish ordered again prawn cocktail the sauce was runny popperdoms stale think they changed chefs because really disappointed tonight

Eat Central

Lots of choices for food and the seating areas are kept clean and tidy.
The Subway had a massive queue the last time we visited and by the time we got to the front to pay and order the advertised desserts, they told us we would have to join the back of the queue again if we expected to be able to buy desserts as well as our sandwiches... I mean... How cheeky of us to want to spend another £15... Was a very odd 'service' experience we haven't wanted to revisit. Luckily it is easy to avoid the bad to favour the better options around.
The Chinese and Greek stalls and the tasty plaice chip shop are lovely, with great prices, lovely food and friendly service.
There's always something to satisfy everyone when we have a break in the shopping :)

Very friendly staff, Ellie and chloe went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, they were always smiling ☺ and checked up on us, the food and pudding was very tasty, 2nd time there and will definitely go again. Best service ever, thanks Ellie and Chloe, you made our day xxx

Brierley Hop House

My family hired out the hop house function room for me for my baby shower. We had such a lovely day! The room is great for parties and events. Was able to do own catering and set up the room however we wanted. It’s a lovely, light room, views of the canal and has two areas for guests/food/dj etc so it’s fab. They provided all our guests with a free day pass for parking also which was super helpful. I was able to play music through my Bluetooth speaker. Keira (bar staff) was fabulous and so helpful - thank you Keira, you’re a star. I would definitely recommend booking events/parties here. I have visited the hop house pub many times over the past couple of years for food/drinks also, it’s a friendly, down to earth pub and has a nice atmosphere, enjoyable pub grub and a good selection of drinks. Nice place for a catch up with friends/family and has outdoor seating also which is nice when the weather is nice. Allows dogs to go also which is great when I’ve got the fur baby with me. Thank you hop house! ❤️

I’ve eaten Indian food since I was 18 years old, some 4 decades ago: trust me when I tell you this is one of the most amazing restaurants you can order from! Bon Pan Asian Buffet

The buffet selection was good there’s many options to choose from, however the tepenyaki let it down. I had udon noodles and they became very mushy and the whole dish lacked flavour apart from a slight burnt taste. not a fan.

Went to Faraday's for our parents Diamond Wedding Anniversary - They had a night to remember! The staff were so helpful & set up a lovely table for us - and Vicki in particular, made their night with her friendliness and fun throughout the evening. It was such an enjoyable night with wonderful food too - couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you Vicki and all the staff x

I ordered food on a Saturday evening and my food arrived within 20mins of ordering even though it said it would take 50mins to arrive so I was very impressed by the quick service. The food came piping hot and remained how for ages, this is one of the best Chinese Iv had in a little while. The barbecue Spare Ribs were my favourite very meaty and delicious. Thank you for the service and great food I’ll definitely be ordering again.

Cocktail night was great! Pornstar Martini’s were the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend! Wish we’d stayed longer to try the other cocktails on the menu!

Birch Tree Inn

Very nice pub. The place has a country feeling to it even though its stuck in-between Brierley Hill and Stourbridge. Staff was friendly and the food was very good. Also have a nice room for a small function which was ideal for a small party.

Blue Ball Restaurant

2nd takeaway order from here and the food was fantastic both times. We've tried a lot of local Indian restaurants and most of them were quite underwhelming. But this place is currently our firm favourite!

The girls were all clearly working so hard but just getting on with being lovely to customers, it was extremely busy however our coffee was lovely! Lydia was fab, put herself out to be amazing and helpful ☺️

Pizza Hut Express

Ordered the cheesy bites tear and share, and a couple of robinsons fruit shoots.

The cheesy bites were delicious! Made fresh right in front of you, you get to eat it within a minute of cooking, and the cheesy is so soft and stringy, and tastes amazing with the garlic and herb topping. Would come back here again next time I visit Eat Central.

They also had menu options that I hadn’t seen at a regular PH restaurant.

Vegetarian options: Menu not as full as the restaurant menu, but there were vegetarian options - veg and margharita pizzas, and veg sides.

Not sure if there are vegan options.

Parking: Loads of parking spaces available.

Wheelchair accessibility: Lifts close by at the entrance to Eat Central. Other lifts and entrances are available.

JADE PALACE Chinese And Thai Takeaway truly exceeded my expectations. The flavors were exceptional, and the variety of Chinese and Thai dishes offered made it a delightful experience. The food was fresh, well-cooked, and delivered promptly. The friendly staff and efficient service added to the overall positive impression. I highly recommend JADE PALACE for a satisfying and delicious takeaway experience.

The Rock Fryer

Ordered off Uber today and saw that it had own delivery drivers. Usually this is a big no for me. However myself and me missus was hungry and didn't want a late night pizza.

So went ahead and ordered this and waited 30 minutes, phoned the staff asking where the driver is and the staff were extremely polite and told me all the information I needed.

Then the driver arrived within 2 minutes after the call, once again delivery staff was lovely and polite to my partner who collected the food.

And I thought it couldn't get better but it did. Some of best chips and fish I've had in a long time. Definitely recommend.

The Vine Inn Bathams

We visited the Vine Inn as a party of 18 as part of the Oxfordshire MG Owner's Club's mini break to the Black Country. We wanted to experience a typical Black Country pub, and this one was suggested as one of the best. We were not disappointed. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very efficient. All 18 of us were served quickly, and escorted to a large room that had been set aside for us. The food and drink was excellent value, and the food portions generous. The pub itself is interesting to wander around and to read some of the historic artefacts on the walls. A large, free car park opposite the pub was perfectly suitable for our classic MGs. This pub certainly met our expectations.

Saltwells Inn

Ten of us went for a birthday meal. We had excellent service and all the food was lovely. Such good value for .money. We were in the family room which was very clean and the little one didn't have to worry about running around. Well done Saltwells will be coming back.

Toledo Lounge

Went in with my mother for a quick evening bite last Tuesday and a few drinks and received exceptional service from start to finish.
The pork bao buns were also cooked really well. 3-5 tapas dishes are enough for 2 people if you want something lighter and not from the main menu.
Will definitely be heading back soon enough.

Been to the Santa lunch today and it was fab!!! Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff. We pre ordered cobs which were brilliant!!! Great prices and an all round great pub!

Lovely local pub with great beer, good gin, tasty bar snacks, cobs & sausage rolls! Plenty pop, crisps and chocs for the kids. Dart board and fruit machines, regular charity fundraisers held and a sunny beer garden with some undercover seating for those wetter days. Love a Bathams pub!

Spice Tree

A fantastic little restaurant in Quarry Bank high street. I've eaten in this establishment on a number of occasions. The food is consistently good. More importantly it's always freshly prepared , be patient and you will leave with a big smile.

The staff are attentive without being intrusive, the menu is extremely varied, with some really interesting options.
House specials , tikka sizzlers and those beautiful naan breads will have you coming back for more.

Haven't been here in a few years but wow will definitely be back. The filled cobs were so good I've gone back to get a bag of cobs so I can fill for dinner tomorrow, one of them won't make it as I've already started on it. Lovely freshly cooked fish and chips. The fish was so white and chunky...haven't tasted anything so good for a long time. Reasonably priced too. Good value for money!

Found this little place by accident, as its a community based cafe' I popped in and had a light lunch. The service was quick, food well prepared and hot and the beverage was made the way I like it. Cost was cheaper than I expected too, it's important to support our independent business's like this. Definitely recommending to my friends, I'll be going back too. Forgot to say, the place is spotlessly clean. Full marks from me?

Brickmakers arms

In this modern day, it’s hard to find a good, old fashioned, traditional pub. The Brickmakers Arms is just that, serving an array of draught and bottled ales, lagers, ciders and spirits - the pub attracts all ages too which is refreshing to see. The landlady Chloe is a breath of fresh air, an injection of youth and she is able to converse with ease with every punter - both locals and those new to the pub. This goes for all staff to be honest. The pub also offers a choice of fresh cobs, sausage rolls, pork pie, samosas and other snacks, but be quick, these are very popular and sell fast!!!!
Weekend evenings offer a variation of musical performances and karaoke for those that like entertainment.
I’m told the pub is due a refurb with the onus on the outside which will make this already popular venue even more desirable!!!!

When you find a great shopping centre which is huge and you think it has everything then you find out it has a Spoons well does it get much better than that lol connected to Merry Hill shopping centre you get a large spoons with outdoor seating very nice meals and usually fast table service, parking next to the pub free for 4 hours

High praise to Paul the chef for his delicious homemade pies ? \n\nFantastic customer service from Tim and Paige.\n\nWe just popped to Merry Hill for a bit of late afternoon shopping and grabbed the opportunity to enjoy some late lunch/early dinner from Harpers at Eat Central.\n\nThere was plenty of choice and the food looked fresh and inviting.\n\nThe filling in the Chicken and Mushroom pie was sumptuous, highly impressed by the quantity and quality of chicken. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and the potatoes were crispy yet also fluffy.\n\nThe cheese,onion and potato pie was buttery and delicious.\n\nWe added Apple Crumble and custard for £1.50 and were able to have that packed to take home. We just sat and enjoyed that in our garden. Full of perfectly cooked apple and topped with a vanilla custard. Just yummy !\n\nGood value for money, and we would highly recommend a visit.

Brilliant service and pizza was amazing! Being a florist I’d just got back from a 18 hour shift due to Mother’s Day, I only wanted a small order just to tide me over, the gentleman who answers the phone was understanding and sent my order anyway even though it was a small one! Delivery was prompt as well as the delivery driver being very polite. Always use Pars for pizza, but wanted to express my gratitude from a very tired and no longer Hangry Florist.

Had a great time. Perfected my meal which doesn't happen all the time, there were lots of staff, service was quick. The only downside was I would like a reasonable amount of salt on my fries since there wasn't a lot. 4 stars

Improved loads since the soggy chicken and half-your-order-missing days. Never eat in, this is my go to, shove my pj's and crack head it round the drive thru KFC.\\nGood service, order arrives hot and correct, you always get given the extras you need and usually fast except on a Friday night when it's weirdly the busiest place in Merry Hill.

My fave Burger King store. I always use the drive through. Food is always perfect ? hot and delicious. My son is autistic and this is his comfort food, he as the same every time, Chicken Royal with cheese meal, with a fanta and 9 chicken nuggets. He has never complained about the food, so I know its perfect. Staff are friendly & professional. And would like to give praise to a certain member, who goes above and beyond, my purple haired friend, the lovely Sky ? she always makes my visit more enjoyable, takes the time to speak to me and ask me how my day has been! This is fantastic for me as I don't get out much to socialise, being a carer to two autistic boys. So I highly recommend the Brierley Hill Branch ?
