We had a fantastic family visit to Westbourne Spice yesterday. We were served by Ali who took very good care of us from the minute we arrived to when we left. He made sure that we were alright and happy throughout our meal and he was a very lovely person. The atmosphere was very friendly and all of the staff were very polite and helpful. The menu was fantastic and gave brilliant options and dietary advice. The food was delicious and the portions were great too. The whole experience was amazing and we will definitely be back!

You don’t get service and food like this at all the chains. Buon Apps is an independent restaurant that genuinely care about the service and food they create. From the warm welcome, to little bit of chat and humour while taking our order, to the excellent quality of food. It was truly delicious. I have a shellfish allergy and dairy intolerance and I had so much choice. The menu is the right size, it doesn’t need to be any larger. \nIt was great to see them so busy too. \nWe will be back.

First time visit with my husband, daughter and her boyfriend, what a wonderful place. My daughter’s boyfriend has been going since a child and said how good the fish and chips were and he’s not wrong. We visited the restaurant and were greeted by a very friendly welcome and the staff were very attentive. Things just got better when the food arrived, some of us had the regular and my husband had the special. They were all delicious good size chips crispy outside and fluffy inside. The fish was delicious, crispy, light batter and really thick tasty fish. Some of us tried desserts, ice cream, a sundae and Bakewell tart, the same quality with these too, homemade. There is also a takeaway and we will try that too.
Would highly recommend and we will definitely return.

We arrived at Otley golf club for our away day, was greeted with coffee and bacon sandwiches, The course was fantastic and in very good condition ( compliments to the green staff) came off the course and had a very good evening meal, very enjoyable. The service was also very good indeed, however I hope the kitchen can serve fresher bread for the sandwiches than what was served to us, a minor problem, that's why it received 4stars instead of 5. Well worth a visit.

My first time going out for a curry and it was definitely better then I expected. I ordered 2 popadoms which were delicious and warm and were served within minute and then I got some kebab meat which was delicious and extremely flavourful. For my main course I got a chicken tikka which was so nice. I was so full that I had to take some home. The service was great and the whole restaurant having a general good atmosphere and traditional Indian music playing. After we payed we got a hot towel and a mint chocolate. Amazing experience.

I hadn’t had pizza from Cucina in Otley for many years and thought I’d give it another try – and I’m glad I did! The pizzas and burger we ordered were excellent, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. It is slightly pricier than other pizza places in town, but the quality really shows. The only thing to note is that parking can be a bit of a challenge, so be prepared to circle around the nearby roads to find a spot if you’re collecting your order.

Had a family meal at the Roebuck yesterday, first time customers since it gained new owners. I had the steak and ale pie for main and jam roly poly for pudding. It was all very good. Well cooked, the chunky chips were delicious and the pie was chocked full of meat. The pudding was proper suet and a perfect end to my meal. As a none drinker I was also happy that they serve 0% beer. The rest of our group had burgers and Sunday roasts and everyone was very pleased. The service was delightful , very friendly staff. The bill was slightly surprising at the end as I had expected it to have cost more. Highly recommend and we will definitely be going back.

Was unsure cos of some of the unfair reviews but friends highly recommended it, we wasn't disappointed whatsoever! It was delicious, the portions where huge and was delivered in 20mins, tip to anybody who dislikes long waiting times when its busy, remember when you have to wait for food it means A: it's been freshly cooked, and B: they're very busy, which tells you the food must be good! Will definitely be ordering again in the future ?

Called in today on off chance, poor lass on her own behind the bar but wasn’t busy fortunately, had the carvery which has a peculiar way of getting your food have to wait in a queue from your seat the chef comes and tells you when he’s ready to cut the meat. Not quick service and the veg wasn’t particularly nice. However plenty of meat and decent cut. Maybe we would call again. Just on a day out.

Love this place.We have relatives in Otley who are regulars here and we always join them when we are visiting.Always a great selection of beers and tons of gin to choose from.Dog friendly, child friendly and for the calibre of drinks they serve, also wallet friendly.Indoor and outdoor seating for when it’s nice out, plus there are often little food stalls there on a weekend. Great vibe about the place and the staff are so friendly.Wish there was one closer to home for us!

The Wharfe Fish & Chip Restaurant

We called in on Tuesday 26 Aug after reading reviews and was not disappointed. We were a party of 4 pensioners and had the pensioners special. It was beautiful, hand cut chips with crunchy batter and flacky fish. Delicious.
The young lady serving us was a pleasure to meet, so attentive to our needs, and proper Yorkshire tea.
Whilst we were there it poured down and a family came in wet through. The young lady got them dry towels to help dry themselves off. What great service. I wish I had caught her name as she deserves high praise.
We will definitely be going back next time we are in Otley and recommend to anyone else who is fortunate enough to visit this lovely town. 10/10

My friends and I enjoyed a delicious meal on a Saturday lunchtime. We all ordered off the specials board and were not disappointed .
I had Pesce Rosso which was beautifully presented and tasty whike both friends opted for spagetti alioli, it was delightful with a surprising chilli kick.
A shared starter of tempura zucchini with a glass of Prosecco each, 3 mains off the specials board with a side salad and a bottle of wine came to around £32 per person. Great value for wonderful food. We will definitely be back.

A great little cafe, just a short walk from the town centre, just over the bridge. We were greeted by Bertie, the maitre dog, who, after being given a handful of dog treats, showed us to the window seat. Alex, our human host, took care of our drinks and food order, fresh coffee to drink in, and freshly prepared sandwiches to go. All for a good price. We will be back.

Called in for breakfast before shopping at Sainsburys, best decision in a while! The eggs benidict and scrambled eggs on toast (with extra mushrooms & tomatoes on both) were cooked to perfection and were a good portion size.
