Went in for coffee and cake. Wonderful homemade cakes and tasty coffees and teas. Great menu selection and good prices. A must visit and great to support local businesses

The Five Bells

I stumbled upon this excellent pub by accident, and had a very pleasant experience. This wonderful pub was warm and cozy and I got a table by one of the fires. The service was friendly, and the food was excellent (omelette with haddock, and apple crumble and custard with a cappuccino) - overall exceptionally well done. The pub was reasonably full but it still did not feel too crowded, and the decor is tasteful, comfortable and welcoming.

The Winterbourne

Nice food, great location. Sat in the conservatory on a warm late summer day. Small veggie and vegan option on a Sunday but felt they could have accommodated requests. Good desserts. Not busy for a lunchtime. Staff were nice. Food arrived quickly. Clean. Worth a stop.

The little Gem

Stopped here on high recommendation of family members. Didn't have food so can't really comment so the score is a reflection of family comment and what we saw. Had coffee and hot chocolate both were as good as you'll get anywhere but not such high prices so fair value. Service friendly welcoming and efficient. A few of us had babies which were welcome. The owner is a lovely personality and adds to the overall feel and atmosphere. She even helps with baby cuddles. It's small but clean and laid out well given the space available. The cafe is based on an ethos of 'well being' so it's objective is to be calming, relaxing promoting healthy food and mind which is evident from it's relaxed setting, welcoming staff and vegan food offering. It succeeds in all of these things. The 4* is only because I can't comment on the food. Possibly the next visit.

Il Camino Italian Restaurant

They have fresh roses on the tables.
They had a log fire on. We where on a date night without kids. And the was a pleasant surprise. The food was absolutely a work of art. There was quite a lot of space between tables, so you just feel more relaxed, not pressured to look around if you have to move your chair, or you can speak to each without thinking every one can listen. Highly recommended!

China Chef

I’ve never had anything but great experiences picking up dinner here.
Helen and Cam are always so welcoming while grafting away to perfect orders.
I personally just love their standard of customer service and relationship with customers. Regular or sporadic.
Great locally owned and run business.

Jubilee Lake Tea Room

This was our first visit with our grandson. The food was good, honest cooking at a great price. The kitchen was spotlessly clean, and the staff were very friendly. Our first visit certainly won’t be our last! Thank you.

Dandelion Gifts & Coffee Shop

This wonderful cafe was recommended by the butchers mate and I can honestly say we were not disappointed, I booked an afternoon tea for my partner who has a gluten intolerance, the food was exceptional and plentiful, sandwiches full of flavour freshly made, the cakes a delight and jam & cream scones to die for all topped off with a wonderful leaf tea. The service and attention from Amanda was impeccable as was the hygiene and attention to detail to keep the gluten free food safe. Thank you Amanda

The Sally Pussey's Inn

Second visit to this pub with friends and we really enjoy it as a family. The team are attentive and friendly there is ample parking and its reasonably priced. Thoroughly recommended and we will be returning on our next visit I'm sure. Do book ahead for the Sunday roast!

The Royal Wootton Bassett

Travelling back from London today my local male voice choir and I came here for Sunday Lunch.

I must say the options they had was so lovely and fit for the actual Royal Family.

I had The Royal Roast which consisted of three meats Turkey, Belly Pork which also included crackling and beef. I must say this dinner I had was the very finest ive ever had, quite simply delicious. The pork crackling was very crunchy just how it should be similar to a pork scratching. As a coniseur to Real Ales and craft beers I paired my meal with one of their cask conditioned Real Ales Gem Amber Ale which was a malty, quite sweet and light bodied ale which I thought was the perfect accompaniment. Both my Sunday Lunch including the Real ale I had gets a well earned 10/10 from me.

All in all everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and the service from the floor staff was outstanding again its a 10/10 this time for the floor staff and chefs.

I'll certainly be coming back here for food again in the future.

What a great find in Royal Wootton Bassett. The food was delicious! Entertaining waitstaff while we waited for our food. Loved it! We also believe it is a happening club in the late hours. I believe she referred to it as Las Bassett!

The Angel Hotel

A group of our members got together for Christmas drinks at the Angel and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The atmosphere was lovely, the bar staff were friendly, and we were able to sit together despite it being a lively, busy pub!

Chillies Indian Cuisine

We were on a trip from France to visit family & friends, and keen to taste a real Bengali Indian meal. It was a quiet Sunday evening. We were met by a very friendly, efficient waiter. The food was really tasty and tangy. My Indian Railway lamb curry was top notch. Others around the table had Jingha Kali Mirch (prawns), chicken bhuna, lamb madras, something with salmon, and goan chicken, with various sides and drinks, and all were happy. I'd happily come here again.

New Gourmet Oriental

Found this Chinese about 2 months ago and I won’t go anywhere else now I love it .. few favs bbq ribs are the best iv ever had.. house special chow mein unreal.. . house special fried rice.. also the pork dumplings I tried today were the best iv ever had! Honestly give it a go..

Schoolhouse Restaurant & Hotel

My husband and I have dined here on many occasions and it is our absolute favourite restaurant for miles around. Extensive menu and a charming host. Food is fresh and cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chef. Beautiful building with lots of character.

Lees Fish & Chips

Fresh fish & chips. Excellent portion size and value for money. Service was very good and polite. After phoning order in advance, it was ready when arrived to collect. Would highly recommend for fish and chips and I will be purchasing my fish and chips from here on a regular basis.

Churchill - Pub & Grill

Had a fantastic time at The Churchill! The atmosphere is spot on, but what really made the experience was the service.
A huge shoutout to Antonio, who was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find that level of genuine hospitality. Great food, better vibes—we’ll definitely be back.
