The place has a really good atmosphere...obviously popular with the locals.

Cross St, Tenbury WellsHad the most incredible roast beef dinner here on Sunday and I can honestly say it was a firm 10/10 - the beef was cooked perfectly a huge Yorkshire, a great selection of veg including cauliflower cheese to die for and the gravy was so tasty! I have never had a roast dinner this good when eating out!
The team were wonderful and warm and super friendly, and despite our massively delayed arrival that brought us to the time of kitchen close, they accommodated us, and the service from such a young team was excellent! 3 of the team we met (alfie/angel and another lovely girl (21 and been there since she was a kid)) were so attentive, chatty and on the ball it was a pleasure to see them at work, and so obviously happy to be there, super conscientious and working hard.
The pub is exactly as it should be in January, roaring fire, traditional decor and cosy vibes
We have visited others in the area and this is the stand out by far.
This is a must visit especially on a Sunday - try and get a table upstairs if you want the traditional pub experience :)

25A Teme St, Tenbury WellsCame across this little gem last Sunday (28th September) whilst having a wander around Tenbury. What a find this place was!
Everything about the place was 100%, from the friendly staff, excellent service and the wonderful food, not to mention the exceptional standard of cleanliness.
It will be worth visiting Tenbury Wells again, even if only to sample the gorgeous fare on offer in Mr Thoms

Knowbury, LudlowSpending a few days in Ludlow. We stopped in for a beer and was very welcome. We returned a second time had another great pint as well as tasty chicken burger in a lovely setting with the fire going.

The team at the hotel were extremely helpful and the breakfast was well worth the extra £10.
