Stopped in camelford by chance as we were driving through and stopped to go in the play park near by.
Absolutely delicious, tasted very fresh. We had Cornish hake and it was cooked perfectly. Ordered the fish cake from the childrens menu for my son and he loved it! Also tasted very fresh!
Wish that it was our local chippy!
Would recommend ordering online. We got there at 5 when it opened and it was already super busy. But wasn’t a long wait and still worth the wait!

Tintagel Brewery & Gift Shop

I booked a table via Facebook and had quick response.
We couldn’t see the views as it was so misty.
Large choice on the menus . I went for the pork chops which were huge and there comprised of two of them.
Nice choice of vegetables to go with it. Only criticism I had was that the potato in the dauphinois could have done with a little more cooking as they were slightly Al dente.
The men liked the beers on offer . Would have liked to buy some glasses but the brewery shop was closed as it was after 6 pm.
We all liked our choices. My daughter particularly liked her choice of a vegetarian meal as different to what is on offer elsewhere .
My husband had fish pie and he highly recommends it.
The staff were so friendly and efficient.
Personally I think having the pork chops as either small plate with one chop or regular with two would be good as options for those with smaller appetites. Loved the chips that we had as a side.
We also had bowl of kale .
My daughter had sticky toffee pudding which was light and delicious.
I was too full. Love this place. We will be back as not too far from home

The Wilsey Down
Hallworthy, CamelfordThe Wilsey never lets you down! The food (especially the specials and the Sunday carvery) are outstanding, and your cheesecake was gorgeous! The additional touches and service was a delight for a birthday meal. But we did come several times on our holiday
You cannot beat a Wilsey Down Carvery! When we are back in the area we will be sure to come again!

Cornish Maids
2 Fore St, CamelfordWe used the cornish maids pantry food van yesterday for a motor event in the woods. The food was amazing extremely tasty and worth every penny. Service was great .Would totally recommend this company to anyone. Will definitely use them again

Cornwall, CamelfordPaul the owner was amazing as I could not find the time this place was open I went on to the Facebook page and found a contact so I called and booked when we got there on the day of the booking it turned out they was not normally open that day but Paul turned up amd still insisted me and my son look around and see what I think as I am all about king Arthur. And the place was really nice and he still stayed and we had our own personal cheff and he was great with my son played him at darts. Paul went above and beyond and made us feel so welcome and the food was amazing.

Nepalese Gurkha Restaurant
8 Market Pl, CamelfordLast day on our holiday and me and the partner fancied a curry. We found Nepalese Gurkha Restaurant on Google and thought we would give it a try. All food was lovely and staff were very attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting in Cornwall nearby.

9-11 Market Pl, CamelfordWhat a wonderful experience, first time eating at a Michelin star restaurant and oh my what an experience. Had the tuna with Oriental salad then venison which came with a poached pair. Then although I was more than satisfied I had a dessert ! Had cherry and chocolate mousse it was amazing the house wine was lovely too.
Service was amazing friendly,explained what we had and attentive. Had bread which was free with olive oil, butter and balsamic to dip. Then a salmon and duck pate on a cracker.
Would definitely recommend especially if eating Michelin feels a bit intimidating. Will also be going back

1A Market Pl, CamelfordWe picked up dinner here during our visit to Tintagel and were very impressed. The sweet corn chicken soup, chicken fried rice, and Kung Pao chicken were all delicious, with great flavors throughout. This place is a little gem. ✨
