WOW.......amazing fish and chips,piping hot,quick service,all freshly cooked.
Would highly recommend this chip shop, staff friendly,place very clean,food outstanding,the nicest fish and chips I've had in a while.

Tintagel Brewery & Gift Shop

This is our third visit and brought youngest daughter and her partner.
I booked a table via Facebook and had quick response.
We couldn’t see the views as it was so misty.
Large choice on the menus . I went for the pork chops which were huge and there comprised of two of them.
Nice choice of vegetables to go with it. Only criticism I had was that the potato in the dauphinois could have done with a little more cooking as they were slightly Al dente.

The men liked the beers on offer . Would have liked to buy some glasses but the brewery shop was closed as it was after 6 pm.

We all liked our choices. My daughter particularly liked her choice of a vegetarian meal as different to what is on offer elsewhere .
My husband had fish pie and he highly recommends it.
The staff were so friendly and efficient.
Personally I think having the pork chops as either small plate with one chop or regular with two would be good as options for those with smaller appetites. Loved the chips that we had as a side.
We also had bowl of kale .
My daughter had sticky toffee pudding which was light and delicious.
I was too full. Love this place. We will be back as not too far from home

The Wilsey Down

The Wilsey never lets you down! The food (especially the specials and the Sunday carvery) are outstanding, and your cheesecake was gorgeous! The additional touches and service was a delight for a birthday meal. But we did come several times on our holiday

You cannot beat a Wilsey Down Carvery! When we are back in the area we will be sure to come again!

Very easy to order and quick to respond on Instagram!

Food was amazing and a very generous portion. We could have comfortably shared a meal with a side, but had one meal each. Ideal for large groups.

Cornish Maids

I bought pasties just before the store closed for the day.
The ladies were lovely, despite my late arrival, and conducted the purchase with charm and a smile.
The pasties were delicious, with just the right balance of steak and potato.

The Knights Of The Round Table

Paul the owner was amazing as I could not find the time this place was open I went on to the Facebook page and found a contact so I called and booked when we got there on the day of the booking it turned out they was not normally open that day but Paul turned up amd still insisted me and my son look around and see what I think as I am all about king Arthur. And the place was really nice and he still stayed and we had our own personal cheff and he was great with my son played him at darts. Paul went above and beyond and made us feel so welcome and the food was amazing.

Nepalese Gurkha Restaurant

Last day on our holiday and me and the partner fancied a curry. We found Nepalese Gurkha Restaurant on Google and thought we would give it a try. All food was lovely and staff were very attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting in Cornwall nearby.

Masons Arms

It's probably the best Pizza we've had. Excellent service, great beers and wines. The staff are excellent. If you allow dog or dogs they are made most welcome.
This place can't be faulted.
There’s also Churchfield's car park almost opposite, this was free after 17:00 until 09:00 hours. Also 2 hours free between 09:00 and 17:00 hours.

Hong Kong Island

A lovely meal but the portion of sweet& sour sauce was small. It was very thick so added boiled water cooked well we were on holiday & looked up online. Talked to a number of locals while waited for order which was an acceptable wait not too long! If they are busy with local trade then it does give you confidence you've chosen well & proof is in the product! Thankyou! XXX ❤️
