Havener's, Fowey
Town Quay, FoweyWe had to give some feedback on our stay. We had been let down after driving 6 hrs by our holiday let in Goran Haven & at 10:15pm we needed to find a place to stay for the night, after many phone calls it looked like it would be a night’s sleep in the car parked in a layby. Finally, we called Havener's in Fowey, they said they could help. Arriving at 10:50pm & exhausted the general manager Lee Taylor organised a room, helped explain where we could park & had someone help us up to our room. The room was spotless & so comfortable, we had a great night’s sleep. The following morning, we enjoyed a great breakfast. We would high recommend the Havener's in Fowey, & especially their staff & the general Manger Lee for their excellent service & kindness in helping us at such a late hour. We will be back! Once again thank you.

Brown Sugar
2 South St, FoweyWe always love to visit Brown Sugar a few times on our holidays in Fowey for coffee, brunch or lunch. We had their afternoon tea with scones for the first time and they were delicious.
The scones were warm, the clotted cream was plentiful and the homemade jam was the best we've ever had!

Quay Bakery
37 Fore St, FoweyThe bakery is smaller than I had anticipated but that's not a problem as their classic Cornish pasty and cinnamon bun are great. The pasty is flavourful and seasoned well (not bland) although there's not much beef in it. The texture of the pasty is neither too flaky nor too thick. The cinnamon bun has good texture and sweetness to it. Like both.

Sam's Fowey
20 Fore St, FoweyAbsolutely fantastic meal at Sam's!! Atlantic cod and chips, king prawn scampi and burgers, everything was perfect. We had a roof top terrace table which was just perfect. Excellent service, the staff could not do enough for us. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back

Harbour Hotel Fowey
Esplanade, FoweyVery good ….. fabulous views from pretty much every part of the hotel….. friendly welcoming staff, and even the new recruits seem eager to please…. The bar manager is a true gent, very knowledgeable and can mix a mean cocktail…… we brought our (not so well behaved) dog and she was still made to feel welcome……. Worth noting it’s well worth pre booking your parking space and if you plan to eat in restaurant again pre book. Continental breakfast is good, space again is limited so you can pre book a table time slot the night before……… a noticeable improvement in service over their sister hotel in padstow and on par with their Salcombe hotel…. We will be back

Roly's Fudge Pantry
21 Fore St, FoweyLovely staff and delicious fudge! I was recommended by a friend so I decided to pop in. They had a variety of flavours available in bags or by weight. We tried some christmas pudding fudge and had to buy it. They even offered us a few free bags of fudge that “weren’t good enough to sell” (they were absolutely delicious though!!) 10/10 Would recommend ??

Old Quay House Restaurant
The Old Quay House Hotel, 28 Fore St, FoweyWhat a lovely stay at Old Quay House. We were a walk in booking and couldnt be happier with our choice! Special thanks to Sue and Emily who, at a moments notice, changed the bed and bedding in our room to accommodate to singles. Brilliant service from a wonderful team. Rooms are spacious, clean and well presented. Lovely to eat out on the veranda... but beware of the gulls!

The Ship Inn
Trafalgar Square, FoweyWe chose the burgers which are made locally, delicious, and large portions. It is a very popular place and as food is cooked freshly there can be a wait for which you are advised. This can happen anywhere. The staff were pleasant and friendly. There was also an offer for family's of a child under 12 eats free with a paying adult. Would highly recommend and will definitely revisit.

5 Fore St, FoweyCalled into this lovely old pub, full of character for a late lunch after a big walk with my dog. Was made welcome by the bar maid who took my food and drink order. I chose the chowder, which came with warm bread and butter. I was given a large bowl serving, hot, creamy and nicely seasoned for my taste. Generous chunks of fish and small prawns. It was exactly what I wanted. Chatting to other customers, they had enjoyed their meals and I saw some tasty looking dishes go by. Nice food and drinks selection on offer.

39A Fore St, FoweyAfter eating at their St Agnes branch, we decided to pop by at Fowey as well. We were a party of 5, and loved the location and food the restaurant had to offer. Convention paid parking right across with scenic views of the water.
Fleming was an excellent host. Must visit for authentic south indian food.

The Galleon Inn
12 Fore St, FoweyHave been here many times over the last few years, food is great, & coffee and drinks are always great. I would recommend coming here if you want decent coffee/drink and lunch with wonderful views over the estuary. Do be aware of the gulls if you sit outside.
Love the mural in the hallway from the high street into the pub too!

The Quay, Polruan, FoweyGreat atmosphere in a cosy little 18thC pub! Well kept cask ales and a great selection of local Tarquin flavoured gins.
Excellent food - fish and chips was some of the best we've had in the Fowey area.
