Couch's Great House
Saxon Bridge, Big Grn, Polperro, LooeAttended the re-opening steak night on 27 Feb. Great to see that Richard has maintained his impeccable standards of cuisine and hospitality over the years that we have been going there. The quality of the steak and all accompanying dishes was top notch. The quantity of food for the set menu was amazing. Wine prices are very reasonable and do not be afraid to go for the house red. Excellent quality overall and we really think that you get more than you pay for. Only wish we lived nearer so we could go more often!

Viceroy Indian Restaurant and takeaway
54 Fore Street, The Quay, LooeI know my curries and the curry that Ali produced was leagues above anything I've had before. The welcome that we received from Mel and Mohammed was above and beyond - I cannot rate the experience and quality of both food and atmosphere highly enough - huge love and respect to Mel and 'the boys' - we'll be back xxxx

Bridge Grill
4 Fore St, East Looe, bridgendLovely kebab meat. Salad seemed fresh but dissapionted no jalapeño. They over did the garlic mayo slightly do perhaps as for less or a pot to put it in. It was pretty busy when I went last because low carnival was on do the wait was 30 minutes plus. My partner had a pizza with bacon he was dissapionted there wasn't much bacon. The base was crispy though. If you want a pizza in particular I wouldn't recommend but there is a pizza restaurant in loe.

The Fish Market
The Quay, LooeAmazing hidden gem with fresh ingredients, excellent cooking, superb service, and not bad view. We make a special effort on our trips to North Cornwall to fit in time on South Coast in Looe to spend time here.
Super fresh ingredients, cooked respectfully but with flair from Fred, great time having Allie looking after us. Lots of small plates to make you reimagine tapas, lovely wines including a good Cornish selection- yay to Trevibban Mill,
Fred's spuds are not be missed alongside a changing selection of seasonal vegetables and salads, and the freshest seafood prepared with flair.
Can't wait to be back.

The Sardine Factory Looe
Quay Rd, West Looe, LooeA fantastic find while visiting Looe. We booked a last min holiday to Looe, and while there we walked and searched for good food. This restaurant was outstanding. We loved every bite. The crispy squid was divine. The crab mac n cheese was the best mac we have ever tasted, and even after the selection of small plates and sides as a tapas style meal, we still had room left for dessert. Which didn’t disappoint. The lemon posset with meringue and raspberries was a creamy perfection.
Thank you to Ben and all of the chefs for our gorgeous meal today.
We really had a fantastic time, and our tummies are very happy

The owner was extremely polite and friendly, even going as far as to decorate our table and leave a birthday card for one of our party! And our young son was delighted to be given a game to play while he waited. The food was delicious but it was the service that made our night!

Fifty Looe
Higher Market St, The Quay, LooeA lovely restaurant with a warm, relaxed atmosphere and cheerful staff who made us feel very welcome. The menu is quite limited, aiming for a fine dining experience, and while the quality is generally high, it does come at a fairly steep price. Most of our group really enjoyed their meals. I had the trio of pork and beef to start—personally, I found the beef a bit overpowering and the pork slightly dry. The desserts, however, were outstanding and easily the highlight of the meal. I’d definitely recommend dining here, but be sure to book in advance and be prepared for the higher-end pricing.

2 River View, West Looe, LooeThe most delicious and aesthetically pleasing cakes! We stopped by here whilst on holiday last week. The weather had been drizzly and the smell of warm cake was like a comforting blanket! We bought three slices of cake, a chocolate cornflake bar and one cake pot! The price was reasonable at just over £20, we were expecting it to be a lot more. The slice of cake was ginormous and it took more than one sitting to eat it all! Definitely recommend and will be purchasing online if possible!

The Harbour Green House Restaurant and Bar
64 Fore St, Polperro, LooeAs we usually visit Polperro in November or December, most places are closed for the winter so we’ve not had the opportunity to eat here. It was open this evening so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed at all. The food we had was freshly cooked and very tasty. I had chicken fajitas which were amazing, my husband had cod and chips which were delicious too. One of the few places which serve REAL chips not frozen ones. Dog friendly too which is a bonus as we took our golden retriever ?

Raffles Bar And Lounge
Hannafore Rd, LooeAs we are in beautiful Cornwall it would be rude not to partake in the traditional "Cream Tea " " Jam First !" But however you like your Jam on your scones, you will not be disappointed. In my opinion, these were the best scones I have tasted. Freshly baked, warm and smelling delicious. The staff are very welcoming, attentive and helpful. The bar is dog friendly too The view of the sea, from our table, was uninterrupted and perfect to have a relaxing afternoon with a friend or friends enjoying some self indulgence. The View Bar Bistro( or Raffles Bar as previously known) is a beautiful spot to while away a few hours Two delicious scones, Jam and cornish clotted cream a couple of fresh strawberries. A freshly brewed pot of Cornish tea or coffee if preferred. £8.50 per person. I consider that very reasonable. What's not to like ! Booking might be advisable.
